Will JonBenét Ever Get Justice?

It has been twenty-one years since JonBenét Ramsey was murdered. Why have the police not connected anyone to her death? Who killed JonBenét? She was a beautiful little six-year-old pageant queen who was found dead inside the basement of her family's home. The two most discussed conspiracy theories are: 

1. The family did it 

2. An outsider did it 

The most likely conspiracy of JonBenét Ramsey's death is the father did it and the family helped cover it up. 

JonBenét was a beautiful 6-year-old girl. In the "JonBenét Ramesy Biography" They say JonBenét was a green-eyed beauty with gorgeous blonde hair (1). She was a beauty pageant queen winning 5 tittles including "Little Miss Colorado, Little Miss Charlevoix, Colorado State All-Star Kids Cover Girl, America's Royale Miss, and National Tiny Miss Beauty" (1). That just goes to show you how beautiful JonBenét was. The young 6-year-old was just a ray of sunshine, and the audience could not help but smile when they saw her walk onto that stage. 

She was a brave, confident young girl. In the "JonBenét Ramsey biography" they said," she was a true southern girl who enjoyed the spotlight" (1). She had no problem having all eyes on her. The "JonBenét Ramsey Biography" also mentioned that with all the sparking dresses she would wear, she was very hard to miss (1). She made herself known on stage. 

She was also a very kind and loving young girl although she would take her pageants seriously. In an InsideEdition interview, Thumper Gosney said that between the competitions she would go off to play with her other friends in the pageant (1). Today when you see pageant competitions kids do not go and play with their competition they usually just stay with their parents. JonBenét was not like that. She just acted like a normal 6-year-old playing together with others who would be considered her competition. 

JonBenét was a very memorable young girl. Only 6 years on this Earth, and she made such an impact on people's lives that she is still being talked about 20 years later. In an interview with InsideEditon, the interviewer said, "These women belong to the class of JonBenét, and they still live in her shadow to this day" (1). There have been so many murder cases that have been left unsolved, but none of them are still talked about like JonBenét's case. There is something about that beautiful, young, confident girl that still just has people asking why? 

It has been twenty years since the unforgettable murder of JonBenét Ramsey, and we still do not have answers. In the "JonBenét Ramsey Biography," they talked about the mysterious death of the beautiful six-year-old pageant queen in Boulder, Colorado: "On the morning of December 26, 1996, Patsy Ramsey called the police after finding a 3-page ransom note demanding $118,000 for her daughter's safe return" (1). But that note would later start the snow ball of questions. Turns out no-one ever took JonBenét out of her family's home (1). Her lifeless body was found in the basement later that day (1). Some of her injuries included a fractured skull, sexual assault, and strangulation by a garrote made with one of her mom's paint brushes (1). Her official death was ruled by a coroner as asphyxia by strangulation and craniocerebral trauma; the coroner rules it a homicide (1). The rumors quickly spread through the small town of Boulder, Colorado. People were talking and just asking themselves, "Who killed JonBenét?" (1). There were several suspects; family and strangers. 

In the "JonBenét Ramsey Biography," they say the crime scene in the house was at risk when the father, John Ramsey, moved the body of JonBenét from the basement to upstairs (1). All DNA was now compromised by moving her (1). People say the Boulder police messed up big time by not securing the crime scene (1). Everyone in the Ramsey house were suspects, being looked at and interviewed separately (1). 

Some pointed their finger at Patsy Ramsey, and in a survey taken at College of the Mainland one out of twenty-one, people say that they believe the father did it. And some of the evidence pointing at Mrs. Ramsey is the three-page ransom note, the bowl of pineapple, and the paintbrush stick used as a garrote. The biggest piece out of all the evidence people cannot seem to wrap there head around is the ransom note. They got writing samples from everyone in the house and were able to rule out everyone except for Patsy. She had quite a few similarities between her writing and the writing on the note. Also, the ransom note was written on paper from Patsy's stationary pad she kept in her office. JonBenét also had undigested pineapple in her stomach during the autopsy report which means she had to of eating pineapple an hour before she died. There was a bowl of unfinished pineapple on the kitchen counter of the Ramsey's home. But Patsy claims when they came home from the Christmas party JonBenét was already Asleep, so they put her to bed. So, maybe Patsy and Burke were up for a late-night snack and JonBenét just happened to get up and, come downstairs to join them.    

Some people believe father John Ramsey killed her and, in a survey at College of the Mainland two out of twenty-one people believed this to be true. But why on earth would John kill his own daughter when he had just lost his older daughter in a car accident? Although, there may seem to be more evidence pointing to the mother Patsy or even brother Burke there is still some heavy evidence that points to Mr. Ramsey. Mr. Ramsey was a very well-known smart guy who built up quite the company that brought in over 1 billion dollars in revenue. So, in the ransom note that was found the "kidnapper" asked for $118,000 dollars which happened to be almost the exact amount that Mr. Ramsey made in a bonus that year. It seemed the Ramsey's could have paid over 1 million dollars if they really wanted. If the person writing the note knew how much Mr. Ramsey made in a bonus that year then it had to of been someone in or close to the family. That is just a small piece of evidence that makes you question Mr. Ramsey the biggest piece of evidence: he moved the body.  

The morning that JonBenét was "kidnapped" police asked Mr. Ramsey to search around the house to see if anything is missing and that is when he found his daughters lifeless body. Instead of Mr. Ramsey getting the police to tell them he has found his daughter he picked her up and moved her into the living room. Some people said he reacted like any father would and that is to just grab her and get her up to the police that is understandable to a point. But other people are saying it should be common sense for John to not have picked her because from that moment forward all DNA evidence was now tampered with and the proper investigation could not take place. 

In the survey done at College of the Mainland thirteen out of twenty-one people think that the brother Burke killed his sister and some of the evidence pointing to him is: the marks on her neck from the train track set he had, his DNA was also found on the bowl of pineapple and he could have had the motive to do it. In the "PEOPLE's Original 1997 Story on the JonBenét Ramsey Murder," they talk about how Burke never got as much attention as JonBenét. We all know that brothers and sisters sometimes have trouble getting along with each other and that’s normal (1). But Burke had every reason to be jealous of JonBenét (1). She was always in the spotlight getting all the attention his sister was very well known in their small town (1). Burke probably felt like he was living in her shadow (1). The night before JonBenét's murder Patsy says that JonBenét fell asleep on the car ride home from the Christmas party. And when they took JonBenét straight to bed but, in the autopsy report there were traces of undigested pineapple in JonBenét's stomach, so she had to have eating pineapple within the last hours because of her murder.  

In a Survey at College at the Mainland, five out of twenty-one people think an outsider did it. The main reason being is there was DNA from an unidentified person on JonBenét's underwear. Everyone one in the immediate family including friends were tested yet nothing was found. One of the suspects being "Santa Clause" who was a guy that came over to the Ramsey house every Christmas to drop off gifts and pretend to be Santa for the kids. He had written a play about a girl who gets kidnapped and is found dead the day after Christmas a couple years prior kind of like JonBenét's death. But an alibi and DNA testing quickly ruled him out as a suspect. One guy even confessed to the murder of JonBenét but ended up having a strong alibi. He was most likely doing it for the attention but no one understands why you would want that kind of attention. But he was not the only person who confessed to JonBenéts murder one guy confessed and, killed him-self shorty after people they could investigate him so maybe it was him we will never know. 

The conclusion on the death of JonBenét is whether Pasty, John, Burke or a stranger killed her we will never know. So much evidence points to Burke killing her and the family covering it up. But with Patsy being passed away and the father growing older and the brother well in his late 20's early 30's it is safe to assume that whoever killed that beautiful six-year-old girl on that cold December night will never be caught. Someone out there knows who killed her and if no one talked twenty years ago they are not going to talk now.

The Murder Mystery of JonBenet By: Audrey Renken

JonBenet Ramsey was a six-year old pageant queen who was brutally murdered in her own home. She was found in her basement by her father in Boulder, Colorado (The Denver Post). There are to be three conspiracy theories that the Ramsey’s plotted their own daughter’s death.

·         Parents responsible for her death

·         Sexually assaulted by her brother

·         Killed by a Santa Claus impersonator

We are going to further examine the death of JonBenet Ramsey and to discover how she was brutally murder in her home in Colorado

            JonBenet Ramsey, a young blonde haired, blue eyed pageant queen, was an ambitious six-year-old. After being crowned in five prestigious pageants, JonBenet also took first place in “Little Miss Colorado, America’s Royale Miss, and National Tiny Miss Beauty” (Lee). JonBenet was very “spunk” during her pageant times. She always had a smile on her face when she was competing during her pageants ( 20 Years After JonBenet Ramsey’s Death). During her pageant days, she competed against many girls from all over the world. While performing, she made many friends. Breanne Griego, Brandi Vigil and Thumper Gosney. These four friends always stayed so close to each other during pageants and spoke highly of each other, Breanne and JonBenet both won the “Little Miss Colorado crown” together and both of them were very excited about being crowned (1).

            JonBenet Ramsey, being a very mature six-year-old, competed competitively during all of her pageant era. In JonBenet six years, she finally reached the status where she wanted to be. She earned the queen status in the world of beauty pageants (Lee 1). Others said a lot about her having a very flashy personality. She always had a smile on her face. While Ramsey was present, or competing, there was never a dull moment (20 Years After JonBenet Ramsey’s Death). JonBenet had a very charming attitude towards life, whether it was competing or just being with all of her friends during competitions.

            In the mysterious murder of JonBenet Ramsey, there are three conspiracy theories that are: parents responsible for her death, her brother sexually assaulted her,  or she was killed by a Santa Claus impersonator. These conspiracy theories didn’t line up and had major red flags.

            The first conspiracy theory shows that JonBenet’s parents are responsible for her death in her home in Boulder, Colorado. You could see on the news and hear on the radio stations that the parents are covering up the murder of their daughter. Tampering with evidence to make it look like it was an accident (Walters). John Ramsey was accused for tampering with the evidence of his daughter, the morning of JonBenet’s disappearance during this tragedy, her was the only one that knew where her body may have been hidden (Four Pieces of evidence… JonBenet Ramsey case... don’t fit). In the articular of “Rolling Stone”, “John Bennett Ramsey found his daughter’s body in the basement wine cellar and carried her upstairs. He removed the tape from her mouth, and covered her body in a blanket, which could have destroyed important evidence.” (Reuters). A ransom note was left on the staircase of the Ramsey’s home, investigators said the ransom note was well written by a female; state investigators have voiced suspicion that Pasty, her mother, wrote the note, but she denied that allegation, and no one has ever been definitively identified as the writer (Jacobs, CBS).

            The second conspiracy theory that the brother of JonBenet Ramsey, Burke Ramsey, sexually assaulted his little sister before she was murder. Burke was accused for this crime of his sister, and he was taken to court because of all the media pointing their fingers at him for this accusations (Belcher). Burke had many interviews with investigators and child specialist, as well (Dr.Phil). During one of his interviews, Burke was playful and light-hearted, then exactly two weeks after his sister’s death he became dull and told the specialist “I’m basically just going on with my life” (Jensen). A family friend was taking pictures of the Ramsey’s, and Burke had a bad temper and struck JonBenet in the face with a gold club (1). Also, investigators say that JonBenet made her brother mad by stealing a piece of his pineapple that Burke made for himself. In reaction, Burke hit JonBenet in the head with a flashlight not meaning to kill her just striking her out of anger (1). Burke Ramsey was falsely accused for sexually assaulting JonBenet. Investigators had DNA specialist run a rape test on JonBenet’s underwear, and John Karr, a schoolteacher, name came back. Later, prosecutors dropped the charge with John Karr. The test shows that the sample on her underwear was connected to a male but, the name of the male has not been identified (JonBenet Ramsey Murder fast facts).

            The last and final conspiracy theory points out that the Ramsey’s hired a Santa Claus impersonator to play Santa Claus at their Christmas party. Bill McReynolds dressed up as Santa a week before the murder of JonBenet. The Ramsey’s throw their famous Christmas parties family and friends gather around for this special night (Lovitt). There was a rumor going around that McReynolds paid a little too much attention to JonBenet, and he would arrange secret visits from Santa on Christmas. Investigators supposedly said that McReynolds picked JonBenet as his “special friend” (1). As he dressed as Santa Claus, he made a good perp in a sexualized child murder. McReynolds brought a small tube of glitter that JonBenet gave him into his heart surgery (1). He became very strange while he was dying he asked his wife to mix the glitter that JonBenet gave him with his ashes. The wife became concerned with her husband and when he passed we have no evidence if his wife mixed his ashes with the glitter as he requested before he passed away.

            A survey was taken at College of the Mainland asking twenty peers around the campus, ages between six-teen through fifty years old. The questions that were asked are “Do you believe JonBenet Ramsey was murder by a Santa Claus impersonator?” Or “ Do you believe JonBenet Ramsey was sexually assaulted by a Santa Claus impersonator?” Almost 95% of the peers said “No” to the first question which was very shocking. But, when asked the second question the comebacks of answers were outstanding: 25% of the peers said “Yes” and 75% of the rest of the peers said “No”. After hearing the answers, the peers were shocked not knowing a Santa Claus impersonator was accused for the murder of JonBenet Ramsey.

            However, the case still carries on with the mysterious murder of the six-year-old pageant queen JonBenet Ramsey.

            After further examination with the JonBenet Ramsey case, the three conspiracy theories still remain unsolved:

·          Parents responsible for her death

·         Sexually assaulted by her brother

·         Killed by a Santa Claus impersonator

Even though this case has been going on for twenty years, evidence is still saying the parents had everything under control and killed their daughter. However, it is possible the Santa Claus impersonator killed JonBenet Ramsey.

Tupac Shakur By: Tyler Hardung

            “Is it a crime, to fight, for what is mine” (“Tupac Shakur Biography”)? This quote comes from the rap icon, Tupac Shakur (1). Tupac, also known as “Pac” or “Makaveli”, was arguably one of the best rappers of all time. Pac’s life came to an end quite shortly at the age of twenty-five (Lee). There are three conspiracy theories revolving around Tupac’s death.

·         The first conspiracy theory is that Tupac was killed by a rival gang member.

·         The second theory is that his manager, Suge Knight, set him up and was the reason for Tupac’s death.

·         The last theory is that Tupac faked his death.

The theories behind Tupac are still a mystery. Was he murdered? Did he fake his own death? Many sources point to Tupac having the ability to fake his own death.

Lesane Crooks, better known as Tupac, was a talented artist. Not only is he arguably one of the best rappers to ever live, but his talents are also seen on the big screen.  Many factors contributed to Tupac's success. Dating back to 1995, Tupac would be recognized for being the first artist to ever have a #1 album while imprisoned (Tupac Shakur Biography). The famous album was called Me Against the World (Ramirez). Following this milestone, Tupac had sold over 67 million copies of his album worldwide, according to Guiness Book of World Records (Tupac Shakur Biography). This resulted in him being the highest selling hip-hop/rap artist of his time (1). In later years, Tupac's career would be brought to attention by Rolling Stones Magazines (1). Upon doing so, Tupac was proclaimed six out of 100 immortal artists and voted the eighty-six greatest Rock and Roll Artist of all time. But Tupac's greatest accomplishment wouldn't be displayed until April 7, 2017. This would be the day Tupac's legacy would forever be remembered, as he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (Lynch). With achievements like these, there was no questioning the talent that Tupac possesses.

Along with Tupac being very talented, he also had a strong mentality. He was a troubled child who faced many obstacles that destined him for failure. At points in his life, Tupac was considered homeless and had to often stay in sheltered homes (Lynch). He grew up in poverty, without a father, and with a drug addict for a mother (Tupac Shakur).  Not having a positive role model to show him right from wrong, Tupac resorted to selling drugs, as a teenager, to make money (1). The struggle did not stop there; in the year 1993, Tupac was first seen behind bars (Bell). Over the next three years, he was seen in and out of jail for multiple counts of assault and weapon charges (1). Throughout Tupac's life, there is much evidence of how troubled he was. Despite these hardships, he overcame the odds to achieve greatness. He persevered and surpassed his goals, as he is still wildly popular today. Tupac will forever be known in the hip-hop culture, as one of the best West Coast rappers to ever live.

The first conspiracy states that Tupac's death was gang related:

On the day of his murder, Shakur was involved in a brawl with Crip member Orlando Anderson on the floor of the MGM Grand casino. Earlier, at a local mall, Anderson had tried to steal a Death Row Records medallion from one of Shakurs entourage-a Mob Piru member- sparking a fistfight. Spotting Anderson at the casino, the hot-tempered rapper attacked. The LAPD insider says a former leader of the Crips admitted that Shakur's death was revenge for this beating. "It was simple retaliation: you mess with one of ours, we will mess with one of yours," the source says. "If Orlando had never been jumped in the hotel, they never would have killed Tupac that night." (Runtagh)

1995 was the year that Tupac Shakur signed with Suge Knight and Death Row Records (1). This would instantly spark a feud with the East coast, as Tupac now represented the West Coast. This rivalry could have been the death of Tupac Shakur.

The second theory suggested that Suge Knight, Tupac's manager and CEO of Death Row Records, set up a hit on Tupac Shakur (Runtagh). Tupac and Suge had an agreement: "Knight offered to finance an appeal in exchange for a three-record deal" (1). With rumors of Tupac starting his own label, assumptions grew that this would be a threat to Death Row Records (1). With the fear of losing Tupac from his label, Suge could have made the hit on Tupac possible.

The last, and most popular, theory is that Tupac Shakur Faked his own death. In 1995, Tupac Shakur was facing a prison sentence for sexual assault. Tupac wrote a letter to Nina Bhadreshwar, a representative for Death Row Records, while incarcerated: “Thug Life to me is dead,” writes Tupac. 'If it’s real, then let somebody else represent it, because I’m tired of it… Here is what my heart says at this time. It’s long but it’s true'" (Woso). Following this letter, Suge expressed how he felt:

I mean, when I left that hospital, me and Pac were laughing and joking,” he explained. “So I don’t see how somebody can turn from doing well to doing bad.”She then asks the burning question that’s been adamantly debated and theorized for years since Pac’s untimely death: Does he believe Tupac is still alive? “I’m gonna tell you that with Pac, you never know.” (Alexis)

Although 70% of those surveyed on the College of the Mainland's campus disagree with this theory, is it possible that Tupac felt this was his only way of getting away from the gang life?

To this very day, theorists continued to contemplate the mystery of Tupac Shakur.

After investigating the death of Tupac Shakur, three theories are left jumbling the minds of all:

1. Was Tupac killed by a rival gang member?

2. Did his manager, Suge Knight, set up Tupac Shakur?

3. Was Tupac capable of faking his own death?

The mystery of Tupac Shakur, that occurred nearly twenty-two years ago, seems to still be rather obscure. However, there is much evidence pointing towards the ability of Tupac escaping the word and faking his own death.

JonBenet Ramsey, a six - year old pageant queen, was found murdered in her own basement with a ransom note in her mother’s handwriting. The truth of whether JonBenet was murdered by her family or an intruder needs to be told. Was JonBenet really murdered by an intruder or was her family behind it all? A few conspiracies out there are the parents, John and Patsy, killed their daughter, Burke, JonBenet’s brother, killed her or the mother wrote the ransom letter to cover up the murder of the six - year old pageant queen murdered in the basement of her own home. We are going to explore whether JonBenet was murdered by her family or whether it was an actual intruder behind it all.

JonBenet Ramsey was not only a lovable, beautiful six -  year old girl, but she was a pageant queen (JonBenet Ramsey Biography). At the age of six she had accomplished more than some competitors would ever accomplish, which caused more enemies than friends, as it should, considering she was so very talented.  “Many people, though, are made viscerally uncomfortable by the sight of prepubescent girls, or for that matter preschoolers, showing off their bodies as a competitive activity.” (Adler). She was a mature young lady, with a bright future ahead of her with competing. JonBenet did not have the typical life of a six -  year old. Instead of getting to play outside, have a social life with other children, she had to wear a face of makeup and fancy gowns, with a ton of pageant practice. Although, she looked very happy, nobody will ever know if she was truly happy or if she did pageants just to please her mother.

From the outside in JonBenet looked like the happiest of girls, but from the inside out there is much more to it. The six - year old was a beautiful young lady, but looks are not everything. At six – years old JonBenet had accomplished more than most pageant competitors would ever accomplish in their life doing pageants. She worked hard and pushed her hardest to win, but was competing really what the young girl wanted to do or was it her mother’s dream. Nobody will ever truly know if JonBenet was truly happy because she was so young and was murdered at such a young age (Bennett). The smile she always kept on her face is very applaudable though. Through all the pictures of the young lady, she seems to have always kept a smile on her face. “JR: She was a spark-plug in our family. She was a ball of energy. That's just something you can't not remember.” (The Documentary Transcript). Winning pageants was no surprise, the beautiful young girl had blonde hair and blue eyes, there is just something that is not right with her murder (Jonbenet Ramsey - Height Birthday Zodiac Filmography Education Biography). JonBenet was only a child, a young girl, trying to live her life.

In the unsolved murder of JonBenet Ramsey, there are three conspiracy theories that could all match up to be true. One being that an intruder came in and attacked her, due to them having a rather large Christmas party just days before (Reynolds). The other two theories both have to do with the Ramsey family, due to the suspicion of how the family acted towards the death of JonBenet.

The first conspiracy theory points to an intruder: “DNA found in 2008 suggested that a man who wasn't related to the Ramseys was involved in the murder, and an analysis of the ransom note suggested that, contrary to popular opinion, none of the Ramsey family members wrote it” (Carrejo). An intruder being behind the murder could be possible due to the Ramsey family having a Christmas party just days before the incident (Reynolds). Some evidence points to an intruder, but since the DNA was inconclusive there was absolutely no proof that an intruder murdered JonBenet. To this day, the theories are only just theories though, there was no actual proof of who killed the innocent young girl.

The second conspiracy allows people to think that the parents, John and Patsy Ramsey, murdered their little girl:

After Mrs Ramsey’s Boxing Day call, police found a strange, three-page ransom note apparently from a “small foreign faction” who demanded £95,000 for JonBenet’s return — the exact figure of her successful businessman father’s bonus. The note was written on Mrs. Ramsey’s pad (along with some practice drafts) and police repeatedly compared it to her writing, but could not draw a conclusive answer about whether they matched.” (Reynolds)

 The ransom note was supposedly in Mrs. Ramsey’s hand-writing. Therefore, the parents could have murdered her and in a freak out decided to stage the entire incident as if an intruder had done it all. The body of young JonBenet was moved before the cops could even see, “It wasn’t until later that day that John Ramsey would open the door to the room and carry the body, which was under a white blanket, upstairs” (Newsweek). John Ramsey moved the body, disturbing any evidence on her and doing that not only messed the case up, but destroyed evidence that could have led to finding the murder of his young daughter JonBenet: “In doing so, he contaminated the crime scene and may have disturbed critical forensic evidence the police could have used to help identify the killer” (Newsweek). All of the parents’ actions were suspicious, leading the police and the public to believe that they could have been behind the whole murder.

The last conspiracy theory is that JonBenet’s brother, Burke Ramsey, murdered her.

The older brother had seemed jealous of JonBenet always getting the attention. She was a pageant queen that received all the attention (The Forensic Outreach Library). JonBenet and her brother Burke had a late night snack of pineapple: “Most incriminatingly, the fingerprints of Burke (JonBenét’s brother) were found on a bowl of pineapple discovered in the kitchen after the murder”(1). JonBenet had pineapple in her stomach in her autopsy, that being the last thing she ate before her death (The Forensic Outreach Library): “Another interesting, and unusual find, that came to light during the autopsy was the undigested remnants of pineapple in JonBenét’s stomach suggesting she’d eaten shortly before her death. Both Patsy and John deny giving her this fruit” (1). Again though, this is just yet another theory about the murder of a young pageant queen. 

Over the years the three conspiracies stay the same: an intruder murdering her, John and Patsy Ramsey, (her parents) being behind the murder and her older brother Burke killing her out of pure jealousy and hate. The JonBenet Ramsey case still remains unsolved to this day. The young, beautiful pageant queen never got justice over her drastic murder.

Bob Lazar: Whistleblower by William Meija

              The universe is a vast and complicated. There is an unimaginable number of planets within galaxies; do you really think we are the only ones? Bob Lazar claims that he worked on extraterrestrial U.F.O’s at a subsection for Area 51. Lazar exposed Area 51 in an interview with George Knapp in 1989 and it leaves us with the conspiracies that revolve around Lazar:

•       Did Lazar work at Area 51
•       Did he actually work on extraterrestrial U.F.O’s
•       Is the government trying to erase him?

Let us explore and discover whether or not Lazar really worked at Area 51.
             Bob Lazar is undoubtedly a well-known physicist; especially because he is known as a “Whistleblower” for uncovering the location of a secret S-4 base (A Brief Biography1). During Lazar’s young adolescent years, he began to develop a love for pyrotechnics watching the displays that the famous Grucci family performed. Once he grew up to a more mature age, he and his close friend Gene Huff founded the “Desert Blast Festival”. The festival is all about homemade explosives and pyrotechnics (Brown 1). One of Bob’s first jobs was titled as a “Photo Guy”, he worked for most of the Las Vegas appraisers (Huff 1). Gene says that when Bob had a special photo delivery he would drive a Honda CRX, in which he installed a jet engine (1). Bob had also owned a rail type dragster with a jet engine from one of the first military’s first supersonic fighters (1).

There was an instance where they were sitting at the kitchen table talking, and Lazar made nitro-glycerin just for fun and then later went outside and blew it up (1). Gene didn’t ever think that all this knowledge and know how was inside of Lazar. Gene once asked Bob a question, “Why didn’t you tell me you were a scientist, and Lazar returned with what did you want me to say?”  (1).
            Even though Lazar was a well-known physicist, he lived a very secretive life. His story sometimes is hard to believe, because of the flaws it contains and the secrets that he has. Lazar did an interview in March of 1990 with Timothy Good (Lazar flaws 1). In this interview, Lazar tells Tim that he had attended Pierce Junior College, California, and there is some evidence with this rumor (1). He then says he went to Cal Tech, and the California State University at Northridge (1). A physicist by the name of Stanton Friedman has been able to prove Lazar’s attendance at both Peirce Junior College and California State University, but no other (1). Bob claims to have received his Bachelor of Science in physics and electronic technology at Pacifica University (1). He then states to have continued his education to receive two masters, one in physics and the other in electronic technology. The college that Bob claims to have received his Bachelor’s in physics was at MIT and wrote his thesis on Magnetohydrodynamics, but to everyone’s surprise, no record is found (1). Lazar’s secrets about his education are one of the major controversies that fuels the whole conspiracy that revolves around him.
            Before anyone can discuss the other conspiracies that revolve around the famous Bob Lazar, they must decide whether or not they believe that he even worked at the secret base. In his interview, Bob states that he was hired on at Los Alamos National Laboratory, but when talking with his closest friend Gene Huff he tells him the company was EG&G (Huff 1) (Bob Lazar Interview 1). Both stories start out the same way; Bob supposedly had gotten the job through a man he met at a seminar named, Edward Teller. Edward Teller is known for being one of the men who aided in the construction of the atomic bomb. In his story with Gene, Bob had sent his resume to Teller, but Teller was no longer active. Teller had given Bob a name of a gentleman in Las Vegas to contact to get a job (Huff 1). Once Bob had contacted the man, he received a phone call from a company called EG&G to set up an interview (1). This company had all kinds of high tech interest at the Nevada test sites. Once Bob had gone to the interview he stated, “He dazzled them by answering the most complex questions they had asked him,” but this had sadly backfired on Lazar (1). The company had felt that he was overqualified for the job position, so he was denied the job. Shortly after, they had told him there was another job available working on propulsion systems (1).
            On the other hand, in the interview, there is a picture shown of the directory at Los Alamos showing Bob on the directory ( “UFO The Bob Lazar Interview” 1).

Both stories end in the same way, in both Bob had been offered a position in Project Galileo where he went to another facility, which had turned out to be the secret S-4 base. When Lazar talks about how they transported him to and from the base in the interview, he says, “When I was told to go to work I would go to McCarran international airport, to a special projects EG&G building.” ( “UFO The Bob Lazar Interview” 1). Which is where both of his stories come together because both now include the special project's building. He then goes further into detail about his trip to the base:
From the airport, I would board a plane that would take a short flight to Groom Lake. Once the plane landed I would board a bus with blacked out windows, which would then take them on about a rough and bumpy twenty to thirty-minute drive to the secret S-4 base. When I had arrived at the base I would see a combination of building and hangars, which were built into the side of the mountain. There were armed guards everywhere and security was oppressive. ( “UFO The Bob Lazar Interview” 1)
            Once he had reached the base he was then escorted into a briefing room (1). There was one instance where they were briefing Lazar about other projects, which were taking place at the base and he remembers seeing photographs of extraterrestrial beings, and each one was seemingly being dissected ( “UFO The Bob Lazar Interview” 1).
            Which leads us to the second conspiracy; what did Bob Lazar do while working inside the secret S-4 base? With Bob’s passion and experience with propulsion systems, someone could already believe what he worked on, but what was the system propelling? In his interview, he tells us about one instance where he was walking to the base and saw one of the hangar doors open, which caught his attention because the doors were always closed. He said that inside the hangar there was an unidentified flying object ( “UFO The Bob Lazar Interview” 1). At first, Bob did not know what exactly he was working on, it was not until he entered the craft that he realized what exactly it was. The way the controls were set up on the inside you could tell the craft was not from the Earth. Bob goes deep into detail about how the flying saucer actually worked:
The craft had three amplifiers or generators that would produce their own gravity wave, which is similar to the gravity that the Earth produces. It turns the wave to work against that of the Earth. The way in which it is propelled, are two different ways one being omicron, where it’s using one amplifier, and then delta configuration, which is all three generators (ideal for space travel). During space travel, the craft would tilt up on its side and the focus the generator to a point in front of it, so that the craft moves in a falling or rolling motion through space. (“UFO The Bob Lazar Interview” 1).
Bob had vast knowledge about how the craft actually worked, and how it was powered by element 115.

            Which leads into the third conspiracy, is the government trying to erase any records of Bob? With all the knowledge that Bob had and being employed by the government it would be logical to believe that he would have had to sign a document stating, that if he spoke of anything classified, any claims he made would be denied. This is the reason that Bob’s story is flawed. No record can be found of him ever attending the two colleges he claims and not much to go on from the secret S-4 base. The program would constantly do background checks on their employees and once had an agent named Mike Thigpen went to Bob’s house and did a thorough search (Huff 1). This has yet to be proven because Mike denies any instance of him being there, but some of Bob’s neighbors had seen him there (1). In Lazar’s interview, he starts to talk about what seems like a normal day, but when he was driving on the highway he noticed a car that seemed suspicious. At first, he did not know what to think about it, “I thought he was trying to race,” but once he heard a gunshot he noticed it was no joking matter (“UFO The Bob Lazar Interview” 1).
            Bob has limited physical proof validating his employment and involvement with the so-called ‘Project Galileo’. His immense knowledge and description of the craft and science behind its mechanisms convey that he either has a very vivid imagination or he was a witness to secret projects at the S-4 base. His knowledge also displays that he had been educated in the field of physics and chemistry previously. In a blind survey, at a local college, 74% of the students questioned believed the story of Bob Lazar, so this leads us to the questions of what is the government hiding and are we really the only ones.
