Denver International Airport by:Tyler Tracy

        The year is 1994 and the brand-new Denver International Airport has just been completed. The project was a massive feat, becoming one of the largest airports in the US. Costing an estimated 4.8 billion dollars the project is the largest public works project in Colorado history (Information on Selected Financial Issues, 1) (Bryant). Being such a large project, you would be led to believe that the airport would have been well welcomed, however, there was one problem, Denver already had a fully functional airport. This fact has led many people to believe there is an alternative motive for building the airport. The most popular idea is that the airport was built as a cover for a large underground bunker built for some cataclysmic event (Hoeller). Many people also believe that the group responsible left clues in the form of time paintings and a time capsule. We will be looking into what is backing these beliefs.

      Leo Tanguma is a painter from southern Texas and having grown up in a small town near Corpus Christi, his family felt a lot of racial discrimination (“INTERVIEW: Leo Tanguma”). As he said in an interview with Rachel Cole Dalamangas, “growing up in Beeville, Texas, a little town fifty miles north of Corpus Christi. Like many little towns in Texas we had very racist sheriffs and police that liked to keep Mexicans in our place. In our town it was a sheriff named, Vail Eniss” (“INTERVIEW: Leo Tanguma”). Leo goes on to describe how this affected his family and his community, how it led to death and brutality, and his art. In summary, Tanguma’s art came out of anger, but it transformed into an outlet for him and those around him, “I was going to draw, but before I could draw, somebody said, ‘Pollo, draw me killing the sheriff.’ Also, all the kids began to say, ‘Draw me too! Draw me too!’ So I started to draw the sheriff hanging or being stabbed” (“INTERVIEW: Leo Tanguma”). By far, the most popular alleged proof for this conspiracy is three paintings by Leo Tanguma. depicting an eerie seen of near self-extinction and rebirth.     

            Despite the life adversities of racial discrimination Leo faced in his childhood, he has managed to not only look past what has happened to him but also let if fuel his art in a positive way. “I’ve told my students, ‘We have to have a higher purpose with our art here, not just to sell it so people can take it and just decorate their homes, but do something more positive’” (“INTERVIEW: Leo Tanguma”). In this, you see how he feels about his art, that it should have purpose or meaning. “My activism was in painting murals and working with kids and so on” (“INTERVIEW: Leo Tanguma”). Leo Tanguma has devoted his career to spreading hope in his art, as well as shining light on ideas that rarely have light shown on them. going so far as too invite students to a correctional facility to paint their life stories and how they plan to fix their lives into two of his murals (“INTERVIEW: Leo Tanguma”). By seeing Leo in this light, you can see why his paintings may be a sign of what may be too come.

          At the Denver International airport, there are several conspiracies fueled by several different sources. To many, the question is not whether there is a conspiracy, but which conspiracies are real. Is there an underground bunker underneath Denver international? As well as who built it and why.

          The first and most popular conspiracy surrounding this infamous airport is that the government built a secret base under the airport to protect important people in the case of a world-shattering event (Ferrett). Tyler Glockner, a member of the secureteam10 group, explains that, “There has been a range of conspiracy theories, so called, about the Denver International Airport, the most known is that this Denver airport is likely a massive base” (Ferrett). This idea spawned from ‘Continuity of government’(Ferrett). Tyler explains, “‘Continuity of government’ is the idea of creating a procedure to make sure politicians can keep ruling if a nuclear war, or something equally as horrific, happens” (Ferrett). He continues to explain that only 1 year after this idea became popular the airport opened,” The airport opened a year later after going $2billion over budget, and almost straight away visitors claimed there was something strange about it” (Ferrett).       This strange feeling only grows stronger as once you see the painting by Leo Tanguma. These Bizarre paintings are seen by some as a foretelling of what is to come.

            A survey taken at a local college shows that 90% of the students who were asked whether they believed the government would hide something like this from the standard population said they believed they would. If they are willing to hide this from us it begs the question, “are they hiding anything else from us? And if so what?”. Which brings us to my second conspiracy that the government is hiding information on some unknown event to come. Tyler Glockner menschen this idea in his interview, “It’s almost as if they’ve built this airport with some sort of information that we don’t know about that something bad is going to happen in the near future.” (Ferrett). Many connect this theory with a time capsule located in the airport (Ferrett). The strange time capsule is an oddity doo too the fact that the group that commissioned it is not known to exist anywhere else (Ferrett). This has to lead many to see it as a cover for some unknown government or world group.

with Leo Tanguma impressionable painting skills, it is hard for some to believe that there is not some hidden meaning behind them. be it a warning to those who are to come, a prediction of what is to be by some secret group, or a beacon meant to bring people there for shelter in the wake of imminent destruction. because of the nature of this conspiracy, nothing will be for certain until that fateful day. leaving only one question left for the world to ask; is this the place where the world may be protected and saved or is this the location from which it will be destroyed.

   How would you feel knowing that your child went “missing” and ended up dead in your own home, a day after Christmas? Well, this is what happened in the unsolved murdered case of Jon Banet Ramsey, a six-year-old girl who participated in many beauty pageants. Many argue that the brother was the one who murdered his own sister, and the parents are covering it up. Others say that John Mark Karr did it since he confessed to “[being] in the Ramsey house the night of the murder and saw Jon Benet die” (Wittmer 1).  Despite the conspiracy theories behind this case, the most likely one is that the brother was at fault and the family is covering everything up.

JonBenet Ramsey was a talented little girl. Following in her mother’s footsteps, who won Miss West Virginia 1977, she participated in many beauty pageants at a young age (Suglia, 2). The little “kindergartener’s sparkling smile, glowing blonde hair” and green eyes was the center of attention from the public (Worthen, 3). With her just being six years old of age, she participated in a lot of beauty pageants. With so much beauty in her, she has “[gained] five pageantry titles: Little Miss Colorado, Little Miss Charlevoix, Colorado State All-Star Kids Cover Girl, America's Royale Miss, and National Tiny Miss Beauty” (3).

Some of her beauty pageant competitors like Thumper Gosney, remember participating in the contest with JonBenet. She recalls her by “the spunk she had on stage”, who was competing for the Little Miss Sunburst 1996 along with JonBenet (“20 Years After JonBenet Ramsey's Death…,10”). Jon Benet can be described as a playful little girl as well due to her playing with Barbie’s with her competitors like Thumper Gosney during breaks in the competitions. When Gosney would disappear, she remembers her mother looking for her. When she found Gosney, Gosney responded with “I was playing Barbies with JonBenet” (10) meaning that JonBenet was a jolly girl.

In the JonBenet Ramsey case, a lot of conspiracies theories came up into how she was murdered. In the first conspiracy theory, they found fingerprints of JonBenet brother, Burke Ramsey, in a bowl in the kitchen with pineapple (Walsh). When performing the autopsy on JonBenet, they found pieces of undigested pineapple in her stomach which meant she had to have eaten it before getting murdered. It was mostly described in the autopsy as “the small intestine contains fragmented pieces of yellow to light green-tan apparent vegetable or fruit material which may represent fragments of pineapple” (“Autopsy Report.”).

With more added to this conspiracy, JonBenet also had a severe blunt force trauma to the head. At the scene, there is a picture of the kitchen, where the bowl of pineapple is along with a flashlight in the counter (CBS,3). This flashlight could have been used by Burke to hit JonBenet and gave her the outrageously huge indentation in the skull. Even a boy that were the same age as Burke at the time of the murder, gave a massive hit to the head of a skull and were surprised that the crack was “very similar to the type of break [they] saw on JonBenet” by the experiment performed (3). He might have thrown a fit due to JonBenet getting one of his pineapple slices which made him hit her with the flashlight. Also looking at interviews of Burke Ramsey make him a suspect. When interviewed as a kid, he says “whoops” in the video as if the killer accidentally hit her when kids will mostly say “bam, bang, bop” etc.… (Eery Burk Ramey Interview!). He was basically describing the murder scene. Very cold and unnatural. Also, nobody grins or smirks when talking about their sister’s death as he does in a Dr. Phil interview. He even describes JonBenet in the casket while smiling ear to ear “I remember the casket was small and her eyes were closed. I think one of her eyes was little bit like droopy or something? I thought that was weird.” (ABCNews). Only people who have murdered someone will show no emotion no matter what the age is. If he states that he did not kill his sister, why wont he show any sentiment while talking about her? Nobody should be smiling while talking about the death of a loved one and especially knowing that if you had nothing to do with it, to prove the public wrong and to question them who might have done such horrible thing. To still ask for help in helping solve this case so his sister (JonBenet) can rest in peace.

Although when he is describing how he saw her on the casket, we can recall back on the day of the murder, how Patsy Ramsey (the mother of JonBenet and Burke) called the police and in the 911 call, we can hear her saying “what did you do? Help me Jesus” and a child saying, “ what did you find?” implying that it could be Burke since he was the only kid in the house. And with the staged ransom note that his mother made stating that JonBenet was “kidnapped” and that the “kidnappers” wanted something in return makes it fishy (CBS). That ransom note even matched the same paper as the notepad in the Ramsey’s home. This was all planned in such short time so she can protect the identity of her son, Burke, since he was his only live child left. As well, Nobody that calls the police says they’ve got a kidnapping because in general, that is what the police say, not a mother. It was a maternal thing to do though of her knowing well that Burke killed his sister and she was doing a bad thing covering him up. Patsy should have done the right thing to be her son could be held accountable of his mistake even if the would call it an “accidental” thing.

Second conspiracy theory was about John Mark Karr confessing ten years later about how he supposedly was there at the time of the murder. Was he though? Well, ten years later, John was living in Thailand in 2006 when he “…initially brought himself into the mess by reaching out to a University of Colorado Boulder professor named Michael Tracey over email regarding a documentary Tracey was making on the case. Once those e-mails took a disturbing turn – revealing the grown man's sexual fascination with JonBenét – Tracey reported Karr to the police who arrested him in Bangkok as a possible suspect. He was immediately flown to Boulder for questioning…” (Lovitt). He also states in a bizarre description how he “recalls strangling JonBenét in a "love game" gone wrong. "Close your pretty eyes, sweetheart," reads the excerpt, in which Karr repeatedly refers to himself as "Daxis." "Daxis loves you so much. Oh God, I love you, JonBenét. And my lover's eyes are slowly closing …" (Lovitt). But then he also vaguely states "her death was an accident. I was with her when she died. But I was not the person who caused it." (1).  Was he really the one who murdered JonBenet Ramsey since he kind of contradicts himself too when he says he still knows the identity of the murderer, but he staged the crime scene to confuse the police at the time of the investigation (1).

After examining the case of JonBenet Ramsey, the results of the six-year old have led to two conspiracy theories:

1.      The brother (Burke Ramsey) murdered his own sister and the parents are covering it up

2.      John Mark Karr did it

In 2018, the twenty-second-year anniversary of the unsolved murder case remains a mystery. Burke Ramsey remains as the top suspect in his sister’s death.

What Happened to Amelia Earhart? By Jessica Cervantes

Amelia Earhart was a recognized beautiful American aviator who was known for setting flying records and was awarded the first woman to fly across the Atlantic Ocean. During a flight to circumnavigate the globe Earhart disappeared somewhere along the lines in the Pacific Ocean in July 1937. Was her disappearance an open-ocean crash near her destination? Could’ve it have been the conspiracy of the Bermuda Triangle? Let’s take a look at what could’ve happened to the greatest unsolved case.

Amelia Earhart Remains to be a symbol of power and perseverance of women in America. She has set the example that you don’t have to be a boy or a man to have an adventurous spirit persona. She was born in Atchison Kansas on July 24. Amelia lived with her grandparents until she was 12 years old. In 1909 Amelia and her younger sister Muriel went to live with her parents in in Des Miones Iowa because their father had been transferred there to a railroad in which he worked at. While living in Des Miones Iowa is where Amelia Earhart laid eyes on her first airplane attending a state fair. In 1920 Earhart took her first airplane ride. “As soon as left the ground” she said “I knew I had to fly” (Amelia Earhart.)  Who would’ve thought that her seeing that plane and actually riding one would’ve started her very own journey of being the world’s best known women pilot.

Amelia Earhart was a Feminist. “Even as a child, as a little girl, she said she should be allowed to do anything a boy would be allowed to do” Says Louise Foundry the caretaker and historian for the Amelia Earhart Museum. She had so much motivation to prove people that it doesn’t matter being a girl you can choose to do whatever your heart desires, she gained the respect of male pilots. The example of her parents’ marriage also shaped the way she thought.

Her mother was raised from a wealthy family and Amelia’s father struggled to be able to provide the luxury Amelia’s mother had, he was diagnosed as an alcoholic and later lost his job and eventually they got a divorce. This taught Amelia that she doesn’t need to depend on a man and that wealth wasn’t everything but the pride and drive she had for being a pilot and handling airplanes got her so far in life. George Palmer Putman proposed to Amelia Earhart six times before she finally agreed to marry him. This comes to show that Amelia was a very independent person.

Amelia’s mother always encouraged freedom between Amelia and her sister, her mentality wasn’t to bringing up her children to be “nice little girls” the way her mom raised her of being able to have freedom and adventure was a common trait through her life and is what made her have the confidence and power to be different.

 Amelia Earhart was known in her family to start challenging the people that thought stereotype. She was a tomboy, loved climbing trees and hunted rats with a rifle. Amelia was so independent that she worked as a nurse in a military hospital and later on moved on to be a social worker in Boston. She saved enough money so that she can pay for her flying lessons and also saved up when she bought herself her very own plane, a yellow two seated that she named “Canary”. She named it like that because she set her first record ever in Canary when she was the first women to rise a high altitude of 14,000 feet.

Amelia Earhart continued to set many records, and impressed America in mysterious ways. In 1928 she had the opportunity to accompany pilot Wilmer Stoltz on a 20-hour flight across the Atlantic to England. This is where the flight received a mass deal of media attention and when Amelia become a public figure.

Amelia’s Earhart disappearance has been one of the most historic events in history. During the attempt to make a circumnavigation flight of the globe in 1937. The model they were in a Purdue-funded Lockheed model 10-e Electra. “They were aiming for tiny Howland Island just north of the equator in in the central Pacific Ocean, although they couldn’t find how land after many attempts no one has seen them since”. (Top 3 theories for Amelia’s Earhart). Amelia Earhart flew and sadly disappeared with Fred Noonan. They ceased to exist over the central Pacific Ocean near Howland Island. They haven’t been able to find the remains of her body, so what could’ve happened to the most famous women pilot in America history?

Theory One: Open ocean crash landing near destination. Amelia Earhart and Noonan apparently ran out of fuel on the way to their destination to Howland Island and the plane crashed into the Pacific Ocean. The coast guard in the United States that was trailing and assisting on the Earhart’s and Noonan Plane. He was providing radio display and smoke plume. The Communication was scarce and lost. “According to the Itasca’s radio logs, Earhart indicated she must be near the island but couldn’t see it and was running low on gas. The Electra never made it to the island”. (Top three theories for Amelia Earhart’s disappearance).

 Nauticos a Hanover, Maryland company, about 16 years ago This Company that performs what they are calling a deep-ocean search and other services. Nauticos made an effort to locate Earhart’s plane where they believe landed somewhere along the Pacific Ocean. “Nauticos president David Jourdan said in 2003 that, by studying factors such as Earhart's broken-up radio transmissions and what is known about the Electra's fuel supply, he and his colleagues had narrowed down an area of the ocean that they believe will eventually yield the plane's grave. (Top Three theories for Amelia Earhart’s disappearance). “we are confident in the area so they kept on searching” said Jourdan. Jourdan contradicts himself with what he said because following up he says “Of course we cannot guarantee it because it could be on the outside edge but we are sure it is in the vicinity”. In March and April of what was 2002 the company used this high-tech deep sea sonar system to be able to search about 700 square miles from the ocean floor near where they might have landed in Howland. They came to the conclusion that they didn’t find the plane and even with a 2006 follow up no plane was found.

Later on in the year 2009 there was a team that organized another search that was done by Waitt Institute for Discovery and with the help of some deep-sea robots. The search turned up no clues. This concludes that the theory of it being an ocean castaway was false. On a Thursday Morning I went around My College campus, College of the Mainland to do a survey on what people thought about the Amelia Earhart disappearance. 30 Percent said that it might have been an ocean castaway and nothing else linked to it.

The Bermuda Triangle is what many people and researchers have determined that’s what has caused hundreds of planes to mysteriously disappear.  The Bermuda triangle has been known as a mythical area of the Atlantic Ocean to make planes and ships disappear. “Unexplained circumstances surround some of these accidents, including one in which the pilots of a squadron of U.S. Navy bombers became disoriented while flying over the area; the planes were never found.” (History.com) Some planes and boats have vanished even in a pretty blue sky without a distress radio message. “The area referred to as the Bermuda Triangle, or Devil’s Triangle, covers about 500,000 square miles” (History.com) You will never see it coming or there isn’t point in the ocean to not cross that. The person flying the plane possibly isn’t in the ocean but is maybe up in the sky around it and who knows what could go wrong. The number of planes that have crashed in the Bermuda Triangle have never been found. The same survey that was taken at College of the Mainland by going around and asking random people boy and girl the simple questions of “How do you think Amelia Earhart Disappeared, was it an open crash ocean landing or Bermuda Triangle?’ 70 percent answered that it was the cause of the Bermuda Triangle.

 “March 1918 when the USS Cyclops, a 542-foot-long Navy cargo ship with over 300 men and 10,000 tons of manganese ore onboard, sank somewhere between Barbados and the Chesapeake Bay. The Cyclops never sent out an SOS distress call despite being equipped to do so, and an extensive search found no wreckage. “Only God and the sea know what happened to the great ship,” U.S. President Woodrow Wilson later said.” (History.com) In 1941 two of the great known Cyclops’ sister ships went around the same route, they vanished without a trace left anywhere. A trail started to accumulate whether it was a ship or plane left with no trace and it vanishing from midair.

“December 1945, five Navy bombers carrying 14 men took off from a Fort Lauderdale, Florida, airfield in order to conduct practice bombing runs over some nearby shoals. But with his compasses apparently malfunctioning, the leader of the mission, known as Flight 19, got severely lost. All five planes flew aimlessly until they ran low on fuel and were forced to ditch at sea. That same day, a rescue plane and its 13-man crew also disappeared. After a massive weeks-long search failed to turn up any evidence, the official Navy report declared that it was “as if they had flown to Mars.” (History.com). These aren’t even half of the disappearances that have happened in the Bermuda triangle if I were to listen them all this paper would be never ending. The vanishing of Amelia Earhart has yet to be found and by the looks of the luck of the Bermuda Triangle nothing is found when it’s the cause of a disappearance.

Brittany Murphy by Angelena Holmen

Did Brittany Murphy really die from natural causes? "At first, the coroner said Brittany died strictly of "natural causes" after suffering with pneumonia and anemia. But months later, the final report (which included toxicology tests) concluded that Brittany had stopped breathing due to the combined effects of pneumonia, anemia and—a very noteworthy addition—prescription and over-the-counter drugs, including the prescription painkiller hydrocodone and pain reliever-fever reducer acetaminophen."(Erin Lim- E News 1).  In her autopsy, they’ve discovered pharmaceutical drugs and other toxins in her body. Could Brittany Murphy could have been possibly poisoned? "Brittany's father took it upon himself to get a court order for his daughter's hair samples to be further analyzed. Surprisingly, high levels of 10 potentially toxic metals such as barium which is often found in rat poison were discovered in the samples" (1). Another speculation about Brittany Murphy's is that the mold found in her house could be the reason for her death. "Although no evidence of the effects of a mold infection was found in Brittany's body by the coroner, the results of any environmental reviews of the 10,000-square-foot property have never been made public"(1).  

          The beautiful Brittany Murphy was born in Atlanta, Georgia on November 10, 1977. She was confident that she was going to be famous. Brittany's parents divorced when she was two years old, in the "Brittany Murphy Biography" sources say, "Murphy's father was heavily involved in organized crimes, and spent most of his life in and out of prison. As a result, Murphy's parents split when she was only two years old"("Brittany Murphy Biography 1). She took dance and voice classes when she was five years old till her early teens at Verne Fowler's School in New Jersey.  She always wanted to be a star:  

By the time Murphy was eight, she had determined that she wanted to be a star. She began pushing her mother to help her get head shots, hire a manager, and drive her into Manhattan for auditions. When Murphy was 12, her mother finally relented. Almost immediately, Murphy began landing jobs for television commercials. (1)  

 Brittany Murphy was sure of herself and knew she was going to be a successful actress. 

When Brittany was fourteen years old in 1991 her and her mother moved to Los Angeles, California to further her career in acting.  "She got her big break in TV that same year, as a regular on the Fox sitcom Drexell's Class (1991)"(1). When Brittany wasn’t working she was attending John Burroughs High School in Burbank, California. 

       Her first movie breakout was her role in the movie "Clueless." According to source "Brittany Murphy Biography," "In 1995, Murphy entered the national spotlight in the popular film Clueless, starring across Alicia Silverstone. A modern take on the popular Jane Austen novel, Emma, the movie was a surprise hit, grossing more than $11 million in its first weekend at the box office. Murphy was suddenly a star"("Brittany Murphy Biography"1). After her success in the movie "Clueless" she began starring in movies such as Girl, Interrupted, 8 mile, and Sin City. According to source IMDb, a unique trait that she has is an "infectious laugh(Biography). Brittany did act out she lost her spot on the movie "The Caller," "she had lost the job due to her poor attitude and spotty attendance on set"(1). 

Brittany Murphy's Husband, Simon Monjack, died 5 months after she did due to the same illness, which is very uncommon. Source article "E! Investigates: 5 Reasons Brittany Murphy's Death Is Still a Mystery" "Simon Eerily Died Just Five Months After Brittany: Wecht says that though it is not "impossible" for two people to die of pneumonia while living in the same house within such a brief period, "It is pretty darned rare"(1). There were speculations about him having fraudulent charges. Article "E! Investigates: 5 reasons Brittnays Murohy's Death Is Still a Mystery" "Two warrants for his arrest in Virginia for alleged credit-card theft and fraud An unpaid $6,087 legal bill A $502,910 judgment against him by a British investment firm"(1). He went to Jail in 2007 and Murphy allegedly bailed him out. Many of her friends disliked her husband and warned her about him. According to NY Daily News article "Director: Brittany Murphy was warned about husband Simon Monjack but did not listen"   "I spoke to two other movie producers who came into contact with him on a project in the last couple of years,’ the reporter told the Mail. "They described him as a “conman.” Neither had anything nice to say."  

Weeks before her death, Brittany was a witness in the Julia Davis vs Homeland Security case. There is a documentary called "Top Priority: the Terror Within" which gives explicit detail about the entire case. It’s an incredible true story of Julia Davis, a national security whistleblower who was subjected to retaliation of unprecedented proportions by the Department of Homeland Security." Murphy was a key witness and gave a statement for the case: 

Film and television star Brittany Murphy was named as a witness in Julia Davis’ litigation against the Department of Homeland Security. Brittany provided a rebuttal to the Agency’s misrepresentations, after certain statements were falsely attributed to her by the DHS in the course of investigating false claims made by the DHS personnel against Julia Davis. After Brittany Murphy provided a written statement in support of Julia Davis, she was targeted by the DHS/ICE. This included helicopter surveillance, wiretaps, an arrest in the middle of the night and an unsuccessful attempt to deport Brittany’s fiancée Simon Monjack, whom she later married.(1) 

Conspiracy theory 1: It was the governments fault for Brittany Murphy's death. Brittany Murphy's father believed that Murphy was poisoned by the government. "Her father offered another theory in November 2013. He released the results of tests done on a sample of Murphy's hair that showed exposure to rat poison"(Brittany Murphy Biography 1). This theory does not work because there are no articles proving that there was a third party intruder to contribute to Brittany Murphy's death. 

Conspiracy theory 2: It was the molds fault for Brittany Murphy's death.  It wasn’t publicized that there was mold in Murphy's house. "After Simon and Brittany's deaths, Sharon filed a lawsuit in which she alleged she hadn't been informed about the possibility of toxic mold being present in her daughter's mansion, where Sharon resided with the couple" (E! Investigates: 5 Reasons Brittany Murphy's Death Is Still a Mystery 1). This theory does not work because there was no evidence of mold found in Brittany Murphy's body. "Although no evidence of the effects of a mold infection was found in Brittany's body by the coroner, the results of any environmental reviews of the 10,000-square-foot property have never been made public"(1). 

 There was a survey taken a College of The Mainland about Brittany Murphy's death. 2 specific questions were asked, Do you think Brittany Murphy's death was an accident? And is the government to blame for Brittany Murphy's death? 21 out of 21 students believed that Brittany Murphy's death was an accident. With the results, students believed that there wasn’t enough evidence to prove that the government poisoned Brittany Murphy. 

On December 20, 2009, Brittany Murphy was pronounced dead. In the result of her death,  she died from pneumonia mixed with over the counter drugs. There were speculations that Brittany Murphy had a drug addiction and eating disorder. "At the time of her passing, rumors circulated regarding possible drug use or an eating disorder contributed to her death"(1). Brittany's father believe that she was poisoned. According to source "E investigates: 5 reasons Brittany Murphy's Death is still a Mystery, "Further, the LAPD won't confirm or deny whether her father's claims of possible "rat poisoning" due to the presence of barium in Brittany's system have been investigated"(1).   

Brittany Murphy was a talented young actress who was taken away from us to young. There are many theories surrounding Brittany Murphy's death to which some remain a mystery to this day. What we do know is that they did find rat poison in Brittany Murphy's body. At the end of the day theories are just theories if they don’t have any facts to back it up with.
