A Royal Accident: Princess Diana's Death by Makenna Henderson

A Royal Accident
Princess Diana was killed in a horrible car accident while driving through a Paris tunnel on Sunday, August 31, 1997 at 12:35 A.M. ("Princess Diana Dead after Car Crash.”). She was 36 when she passed away and had recently gone through a divorce with Prince Charles, Prince of Wales (“Diana Killed in Car Accident in Paris”). When the crash occurred, she was accompanied by a new man she was seeing at the time, Emad Mohammed Al-Fayed, who was driving the limousine racing to get away from paparazzi (2). There were no eyewitnesses who saw the car accident, and because the crash transpired in a tunnel, many people have fabricated conspiracy theories about how the wreck actually occurred (2). There are three popular conspiracy theories. Some individuals believe that she was trying to fake her own death, and it went terribly wrong (“Princess Diana: Conspiracy Theories”).  Others claim that the British secret services took her out because they thought she was a threat to the throne (3). The most probable cause is that it was the paparazzi’s fault because they were taunting the couple and prompted them to drive recklessly in order to escape (3).
Character Analysis: Princess Diana was one of the most adored members of the royal family (“Princess Diana”). Internally, she was a compassionate, strong, shy natured human being who loved and supported children and the needy with a passion (1). When Diana was young, her family life was far from perfect. At age six, Diana’s mother left her father to go live with another man, leaving Diana and her sisters in the middle of a custody battle ("Diana: In Search of Herself"). A psychologist confirmed that this rough childhood resulted in Diana having a hard time trusting others and this is where her shy nature originated (2).
Princess Diana was a beautiful lady. She was  5’10 and only weighed 130 pounds (“How Tall Is Princess Diana Height and Weight”). Her complexation was perfect and she had beautiful bright blue eyes and golden blonde hair (1). She looked exactly like you would imagine a real princess would look. She was well put together all the time. Her outfits were always fancy and had bright beautiful colors. In public, not only her looks were perfect, but you could clearly see she was a happy person. At any given moment she had a big glowing smile on her face as if she was always ready to have her picture taken.
Diana was not interested in fame, instead she was more focused on helping others. After marrying Prince Charles and joining the Royal family, all of the fame from the media and paparazzi made her feel uncomfortable, and resulted in her pursuing her own interest and doing what made her happy (“Princess Diana”). She stated that “Being a princess isn’t all it’s cracked up to be” (Princess Diana Quotes). This quote from Princess Diana proves how humble she was. Princess Diana worked hard to benefit society in a positive way. She participated in hours of community work from helping homeless people to assisting individuals who were suffering with AIDS and HIV (1). When asked about her community service, Princess Diana made a comment that “The biggest disease this day and age is that of people feeling unloved.” (2).  This particular quote from Diana proves her understanding and belief that everyone deserves to be loved, no matter what illness or disadvantage they are suffering from.
Diana’s marriage was no fairytale love story. Princess Diana and her husband, Prince Charles, did not get along in their later years of marriage, which eventually, after a lot of hard work to preserve their marriage, led to divorce (1). The stress from their failing marriage caused Diana to suffer with depression and bulimia, which she struggled with for years ("Diana: In Search of Herself").
Even prior to Diana and Charles’ divorce, Diana was still a highly talked about celebrity and the paparazzi continued to follow her every move (“Princess Diana”). Diana devoted herself and her time to her sons, Harry and William, and she took advantage of her fame by fighting against the use of land mines (1). When Diana started seeing Emad Mohammad Al-Fayed, a famous Egyptian movie producer, the paparazzi went crazy (“Emad Mohammad Al-Fayed- Egyptian Film Producer”). They would continuously track Emad and Princess Diana’s whereabouts and eventually became the cause of the couple’s death (1).
Princess Diana’s death occurred in the privacy of a British tunnel. Therefore, it is not clear exactly how the limousine crashed. As a result of the unseen accident, many individuals have formulated conspiracy theories about how the crash might have transpired. Princess Diana was a very loved and admired person and when she died thousands of people were heartbroken. Her admirers could not seem to accept that their beloved princess was killed so quickly due to an accident. Thus, to help them cope with her surprising death, they created ridiculous conspiracy theories about how she died.
Descriptive: The first conspiracy theory is that Princess Diana was attempting to take her own life. (“Princess Diana: Conspiracy Theories”). She did have many internal and external conflicts such as her dramatic divorce with Prince Charles, suffering with bulimia and depression, and the uncomfortable feeling she had about the press following her every move ("Diana: In Search of Herself"). So perhaps this could be a probable explanation, but when you think about the type of person that Diana was, you realize that she is not the type of person who would selfishly want to disappear. True, she did have many issues in her life, but the things she was passionate about easily outweighed the negative things haunting her. She cared greatly about her two sons that she loved dearly, she fought hard and passionately against the use of land mines and helped individuals who were suffering from AIDS and HIV (“Princess Diana”). Diana was clearly not the type of person that would vanish. She was striving to make a difference in the world and her efforts were unfinished.
Another conspiracy theory that individuals have formulated about Princess Diana’s death was that the British government directed the secret service to get rid of her (“Princess Diana: Conspiracy Theories”). It is said that the British government viewed her as a threat to the throne (1). The people who created this conspiracy theory probably did not trust the government. When asked “Do you think Princess Diana was killed by the British Government?” sixteen out of twenty people believed that the British Government was not behind her death. Diana was not a threat to the throne because the British Government is a monarchy (“The British Monarchy”). A Monarchy government is the type of government that keeps the power within one Royal family (2). The only way you can become a Monarch without being in the Royal family, is to marry into the royal family (2). Diana was once part of the British Monarchy, but after her and Prince Charles got a divorce she was no longer capable of holding any power within the government (2). This proves that Princess Diana was not a threat to the British government. Also, the British Government would not want to put their future leaders, Prince William and Prince Harry, through the life altering event of losing a mother at such a young age.
The third, most probable conspiracy theory is not much of a “conspiracy theory”, states that the limousine accident that transpired in the tunnel was simply an accident caused by the paparazzi (“Princess Diana: Conspiracy Theories”). The limo was traveling at a very fast rate of speed because Princess Diana and the new man she had been seeing, Emad Mohammed Al-Fayed, were racing to escape the taunting paparazzi (“Diana Killed in Car Accident in Paris”). There were no tricks to Princess Diana’s death, the limousine driver simply lost control of the vehicle and since they were traveling at such a fast pace, things took a drastic turn for the worse and the limo became a death trap (2).

The beloved Princess Diana died at age 36 in a tragic car accident that broke the hearts of many individuals on Sunday, August 31, 1997at 12:35 A.M. ("Princess Diana Dead after Car Crash.”). The Princess was accompanied by Emad Mohammed Al-Fayed, a new man she had being seeing after her and Prince Charles’ divorce (“Diana Killed in Car Accident in Paris”). Princess Diana was an extremely popular, admired and loved person who strived to make a difference. She fought against the use of land mines and cared for the needy. She was a loving person whose life ended way too early. Princess Diana was not finished contributing to the world, she had much more love to give. Since her death occurred so suddenly and there were no eye witnesses and crash that transpired in a tunnel, many individuals all around the world began fabricating ridiculous conspiracy theories about how the wreck occurred (2). There have been many crazy conspiracy theories made up about how Princess Diana died. Out of all the conspiracy theories made up, only about three of them make a little bit of sense. The first conspiracy theory is that Princess Diana was so tired of her life, suffering with bulimia and depression, and sick of the paparazzi following her every move, that she decided to take her life into her own hands and fake her own death (“Princess Diana: Conspiracy Theories”). This conspiracy theory can be proven wrong when you look at her personal life. She was not the type of person who would purposely leave her two sons without a mother. The second conspiracy theory is that the British government thought she was a threat to the throne and assassinated her (3). This conspiracy theory can be proven wrong because she was not a threat to the throne since only the Royal family has access to the throne and she was no longer part of the family (“The British Monarchy”). The final and most probably conspiracy theory is that the accident was the paparazzi’s fault for chasing the couple and causing them to drive quickly and eventually crash into the side of the tunnel.(3) Although all of the evidence points to the paparazzi being the culprit of Princess Diana’s death, the mystery remains unsolved.

An Analysis of the Life of Lee Harvey Oswald by Anonymous

Lee Harvey Oswald killed President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963 (LEE HARVEY OSWALD). Sadly, the motives of Oswald killing the President are never to be known. Before he could be thoroughly interrogated, Oswald is shot and killed by assassin Jack Ruby on November 24th, 1963 (1). While we will never be able to fully understand why Oswald killed our nation’s leader, we can analyze the events of his life to try and get a better understanding of his mental psyche when he murdered Kennedy.

It is impossible to determine whether Oswald was a disturbed individual, but if he was then the source of his insanity can be found by looking toward his childhood. Born October 18, 1939, to widow Marguerite Oswald, Oswald and his family moved from house to house in the New Orleans area for the first few years of his life until he moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth area in January of 1944 (Lee Oswald Timeline 1 / Childhood and Youth). At that time Oswald started schooling, but despite this Oswald’s family continued to move over the following years of his life causing him to attend 12 different schools throughout his educational career (1). 1952, however, was the low point of his educational career, at this time Oswald was sent to a youth home for troubled children, due to his truancy problems (1).

While moving around would not raise a child with a strong psyche, this alone would not lead him to become an assassin, therefore the source of any of Oswald’s mental health problems would be found in his adult life (Lee Harvey Oswald: Troubled Youth." Lee Harvey Oswald: Troubled Youth). After leaving school, Oswald goes to Marine Corps got basic training in San Diego on October 26, 1956 and continues in the Marines until he is released from active duty on September 11, 1959 (LEE HARVEY OSWALD). During Oswald’s time in service he had a few altercations with his commanding officer and was a difficult man to work with (1).

After his time in service, Oswald left to visit Europe and had an apparent suicide attempt in Moscow on October 21st, 1959 (LEE HARVEY OSWALD). Ten days later Oswald attempts to renounce his U.S. citizenship and he goes to live in Russia for the next two years (1). During this time, Oswald is put under close surveillance of the KGB (Ivestia).  Eventually Oswald would meet and marry his wife, Marina Nikolayevna Psuakova, while in Russia in the spring of 1961. Together they would come back to America and live out their lives in Dallas, Texas (LEE HARVEY OSWALD).

Throughout Oswald's time in Texas, the man had been conducting suspicious activities. The man purchased multiple firearms and attempted to assassinate Major General Edwin Anderson Walker (LEE HARVEY OSWALD). After his failed attempt to kill General Walker on April 10th, 1963, Oswald flees Texas and goes to Florida for a few months (1). Upon his return to Dallas, Oswald gets a job at the Texas School Book Depository in Dealey Plaza, the building he would shoot at President Kennedy from in the following month (1).

Lee Harvey Oswald, was a strange character but even by analyzing his history closely it is difficult to find out why he would kill President Kennedy. It is no mystery that Oswald was the assassin to President Kennedy, but the mystery behind Kennedy's death is why did Oswald kill the man? Was Oswald mentally unstable due to his unstable childhood and military service, or was he under the influence of the KGB due to his time spent living in Russia?

Bob Lazar by Anonymous

Robert Scott Lazar is an individual who has claimed to have witnessed alien activity within the lines of Area 51 and who has many external and internal conflicts. Robert Lazar is a scientist who acquired a master’s degree in physics and in electronics. He was always known to be a highly intelligent man and what makes this individual so unique, is the amount of knowledge he obtains that he even wrote a thesis on magneto hydrodynamics (MHD). Lazar has worked as a technician in Los Alamos and as a physicist in the Polarized Proton Section dealing with particle accelerators ("Robert Scott Lazar.").  Not only was he a technician and a physicist, on his free time away from work, he built a jet powered car and motorbike, as well as a car that has the ability to run off of hydrogen ("Robert Scott Lazar.").

Robert Scott Lazar apparently knew a substantial amount of top secret information about the activities that were taking place in Area 51. He mentioned:

"I am exactly sure of what I saw. I know what mainstream science is like, I know where physics stands—I know all of that—and this is an extraterrestrial craft, this technology is hundreds and hundreds of years in advance of us, and that's the end of that story." - Bob Lazar ("The Bob Lazar Story.")

Once this got into the public’s hands, people began to bombard Lazar with many interview requests to get the truth about everything that was being said. Many reporters began to research his past, but many found no records that pertained to Lazar. The old records of Robert Scott Lazar went missing and there were no traces of him even being born ("Robert Scott Lazar.").     Hiding all facts about Robert Scott Lazar and his accomplishments became a priority for the job that he once had.

The high-technology job that Lazar worked for wanted to be sure that he did not speak of what he was exposed to while on duty. Therefore, he faced many external conflicts where people would say that Robert Lazar was a fraud. He was threatened multiple times to not mention anything top secret, and he was even shot at for not speaking up about everything he knew and for speaking up when he finally did come to the public.  The reason he acted out upon coming to the public about what he has witnessed was due to his records being “missing”.  He thought that if he were to speak up, that people would know he was telling the truth if others really did take action into executing him ("Physicist Claims Bob Lazar, Area 51 Whistleblower, Worked As ...").

Not only did Lazar experience external conflicts, but also internal conflicts such as knowing the “truth” about Area 51 and extraterrestrial technology and not being able to tell anyone, constantly living in fear of those who threatened his life, and for signing away his constitutional rights. There were people who believed him and supported his perspectives and ideas, but there were also people who completely negated anything that Lazar said ("Physicist Claims Bob Lazar, Area 51 Whistleblower, Worked As ...").

As Robert Scott Lazar was worried for his life, in an interview with George Knapp, after Knapp asked, “You were worried about your LIFE though for a while there, weren't you?”  Lazar responded with “That was one of the reasons to come on and let everything out on the air; it's a little of insurance” ("Robert Scott Lazar."). Lazar was responsible for wise decisions; he was a character who was motivated to get to the bottom of things and was definitely an individual who enjoyed exceeding standards to become the person who knew it all. Whether people believed him or not, he was the type of person to follow through with all of his personal perspectives about Area 51, Lazar was only one of the many who claim to have witnessed extraterrestrial activity.

Tupac Shakur By Daniel Moosavi

What happened to Tupac Shakur? On September 7, 1996, Rapper, Tupac Shakur was shot multiple times by an unknown assailant. After the brutal attack Shakur was taken to a nearby hospital. At the hospital, Shakur was heavily sedated, was placed on life support machines, and was ultimately put under a barbiturate-induced coma after repeatedly trying to get out of the bed (Scott). 6 days later, Shakur was pronounced dead at the age of 25. The fact that the case is unresolved to this day has sparked the minds of many conspiracy theorists. Some believe Rapper, Suge Knight was an accomplice to his murder. Others believe it had to do with a previous feud between Shakur and Rapper, Notorious B.I.G. There are also other theories that conclude that Shakur staged his own death in order to fool his enemies. We will examine all said theories and will come to a conclusion whether or not they could possibly be true.

Who was Tupac Shakur? Imagine a charismatic, potential leader mixed with appearance of a typical West-Coast gangster: 5’ 9” and 165 pounds, clean-shaven head, muscular physique, many tattoos, and medium-colored complexion (“All Eyez on Me” See Schedule A). One of the most captivating rap artists of his time, Shakur, had his whole career ahead of him. Known by his alias “2pac” he was very influential to many modern-day rappers. Google “Top 5 Rappers of All Time”, and no doubt, Tupac’s name should appear.

How was Tupac described? The rapper's husky voice described his stark contradictions, setting misogyny against praise of strong women, hard-won wisdom against the violence of the "thug life" — words he had tattooed across his torso (“Rolling Stone, Tupac Shakur, Biography”). In my own words, I would describe Tupac as a rapper ahead of his time. He includes very powerful emotions in most of his songs. “Dear Mama” is a prime example of how Tupac impacts a strong emotional message. He explains how it was very tough for his mother to raise him because of no father-figure in sight and how he appreciates how much she did for him while he was growing up.

Why would anyone have the intention of murdering Shakur? On the night of November 30, 1994, Shakur was robbed and shot five times by three men in the lobby of Quad Recording Studios in Manhattan (Samaha). In a 1995 interview with Vibe magazine. Shakur accused Sean Combs and Biggie among others of setting up the Quad Recording Studios attack ("What Did Sean 'Puffy' Combs Know?"). Everyone knows that greed can break the bind of friendship. Shakur and Biggie were known to be good friends. Shakur may have believed that Biggie was envious of his success and wanted to do-away with him. You’d have to have a good reason to accuse a close friend of pre-meditating your death. For whatever reason, Shakur decided Biggie was mainly responsible for the attempted homicide.

Tupac was very arrogant and that’s what made him successful. He had that “I don’t care what you think” type of attitude. I believe Shakur’s mental state was greatly affected by the shooting in 1994. He turned his back on close friends because of his insecurities. Who wouldn’t feel that way if someone tried to murder you? The human mind is very complex but in a sense we all have a common response to whatever situation is given to us. This leads me to ask the readers; what would you do if were in Tupac’s shoes? Shakur felt that he couldn’t trust anyone and that everyone was against him.
Shakur seemed to have suffered from anxiety after the 1994 incident. He started causing controversy in the rap industry by releasing “diss tracks”; many of which, were pointed at Biggie. This could only mean that Shakur felt he was inferior and had to prove that he was superior to Biggie by expressing how he felt about him and the incident. Tupac had an image to upkeep, he did not want his fans to think he was less of a thug because he chose to stay quiet. This anxiety told him to act, not think; this decision ultimately led to his death.

Today, Tupac’s death still remains a mystery.

In the case of Tupac Shakur’s death, many conspiracy theories are present. The first conspiracy theory states that Suge Knight was an accomplice to Shakur’s demise. In 1995, Suge Knight bailed Tupac out of jail with the contract of Tupac doing a double album and single album for Death Row Records (“Top 10 reasons Suge Knight killed 2pac”). Tupac fulfilled this request and was planning on leaving the record label to pursue his own. Knight knew this and was most likely angered by that. However, killing someone for quitting a job would be a pretty harsh considering they’ve completed their terms. Many people began believing that Knight killed Tupac for increased profits off of his death. Think of it, with Tupac gone Death Row Records wasn't going to make any money off Tupac. So, if they killed Tupac, everything they sold related to him would get them a whole lot of cash. Also, they would now have all of his unreleased songs which they would release under their label on soundtracks, compilation albums and possibly even new Tupac albums. Plus, it gets rid of the competition they'd receive from Tupac’s future label (“Top 10 reasons Suge Knight killed 2pac”). In fact, Knight was with Shakur when his death took place. They were both inside a vehicle with Knight driving and Tupac in the passenger side. Shakur was shot 5 times and Knight was only hit by a bullet fragmentation (Scott). This left many to ponder whether or not Knight was involved.

The second conspiracy theory claims Sean Combs and Christopher Wallace AKA Biggie Smalls pre-meditated Shakur’s death. This claim may have to do with the fact that Shakur had conflict with Smalls after the 1994 Attack at Quad Studios (Refer to Project 2). Following the attack, Biggie released a track called “Who Shot Ya?” in which many, including Tupac believed that this was released in order to taunt the rapper ("Gangsta rap: East Coast vs West Coast"). According to Shakur, he believed that Smalls and Combs pre-meditated Shakur’s attempted homicide in order get any “competition” out of the way. This can be referenced from a music video of Shakur named “2 Of Amerikaz Most Wanted”. The prelude for the song shows a parody of Biggie Smalls ("Piggie") and Puff Daddy ("Buff Daddy") in discussion with Shakur about the November 1994 shooting. Tupac was convinced that Smalls and Combs wanted to do-away with him. In response to “Who Shot Ya?” Tupac decided to retaliate with a few “diss” songs; one of the most popular is named “Hit ‘Em Up”. This song is very harsh in lyrics about violence and slander towards Combs and Smalls. Shakur stated in this song that he had sexual relations with Smalls current wife at the time, Faith Evans; he also made accusations that the rapper copied his clothing style and that he would kill Smalls if he crossed his path again. A little over three months later after “Hit ‘Em Up” was released, Shakur was fatally shot in Las Vegas, Nevada. Many believe that the “diss” song angered Smalls enough to have Shakur executed. This is very likely considering that Smalls now had a motive to do-away with Shakur.

The last conspiracy theory suggests that Shakur faked his own death to escape his enemies. A few years before his death in 1996, Tupac began going by the alias “Makaveli”; this was a clever spin-off name of Niccolò Machiavelli who was an Italian war strategist. Shakur was a big fan of Machiavelli’s book, “The Prince” and had read it during his 1995 jail sentence (“Tupac: The Lost Tapes Interview”). Now a lot of the conspiracy theorists say that Niccolò advocated in one of his works to fake your own death at the age of 25 and then to return 18 years later at the age of 43 (Jori). Tupac was born June 16, 1971, and died September 13, 1996, precisely at the age of 25 years old. If Tupac were to follow in the footsteps of Machiavelli, then his return should have been in 2014. Even though Tupac has not returned, many people still believe he will make his debut in 2016; this seems highly unlikely. There are too many claims to discuss about Tupac faking his death; I can only believe with lack of evidence that Shakur faking his own death is out of the question. However, during a recent poll experiment, 10 out of 20 people stated they believed Tupac is still alive. This theory may always remain a unresolved.

The two theories that seem most likely possible are either that Suge Knight was an accomplice to his homicide; or that Biggie Smalls and Sean Combs set-up Tupac to be killed. Suge Knight is known for his violent acts; he currently has a pending case for murder charges for a hit-and-run incident in 2015 (Dillon). It was also known that Tupac’s contract was finished with Death Row Records and he was going to leave. It would make sense that Knight would want Tupac out of the picture. It would eliminate any future competition for Death Row Records; also, with Tupac’s contract having not been terminated yet, any unreleased albums/songs Tupac made would belong to Death Row. This would increase Death Row’s income by-far considering how popular Tupac was at the time. The other most likely scenario is that Biggie and Combs did-away with Tupac. Biggie Smalls was the main target of many of Tupac’s “diss” songs. In fact, Tupac mentioned of having sexual relations with Biggie’s wife in one of his disses. Let’s face it, if you have a lot of money and power, you can make someone go away if you wish. Getting rid of Tupac would also mean less competition in the rap industry. Think of it as killing two birds with one stone. However, the case of Tupac’s death remains open.

In the case of Tupac Shakur’s death, many people will question whether or not he is living among us (3). Although many say that Shakur is surely dead, some have applicable theories to why he may be alive. The fact that he changed his alias and predicted his own death leaves many to ponder that his death an elaborate hoax (Svetky).
People who believe Tupac faked his own death believe Shakur changed his alias after his 1995 jail sentence. The famous alias “Makaveli” was a clever spin-off of famous Italian-war strategist Niccolo Machiavelli (3). Machiavelli advocated faking your own death in order to fool ones enemies. Many believe that Tupac’s alias-change was a hint to loved ones and fans that he is still alive. Tupac presumably died at the age of 25, this is coinciding with Machiavelli’s book that stated to fake your death at the age of 25 and return 18 years later at the age of 43 (“Did Tupac Fake His Own Death”). However, if this were to be true then Tupac would have returned in 2014.

After reviewing the alleged homicide case of Tupac Shakur, three conspiracy theories are left to contemplate:
1.      Was Suge Knight an accomplice to the murder?
2.      Did Biggie Smalls and Sean Combs have Shakur murdered?
3.      Did Tupac fake his own death in order to escape his enemies?
In 2015, the nineteenth anniversary of Tupac Shakur’s alleged death, the mystery remains unresolved. There are no prime suspects in the alleged homicide of Tupac Shakur.

Max Jacobson and President John F. Kennedy by Kierra Stearns

Part 1
Part 2

Conspiracy theories are very common in today’s society because we want an answer that makes perfect sense as to how situations can occur. When the reasoning to situations does not make sense we may begin to question or become skeptic of the events. Our skepticism creates us to think of other possibilities that could make sense resulting in conspiracy theories. A conspiracy theory that is still questioned today is how Dr. Max Jacobson treated his patients. Dr. Max Jacobson was from Germany and moved to New York after leaving Berlin, when he came to the United States he treated John F. Kennedy, Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, Elvis and many more well-known figures. It is said his treatments involved meth. There are visual pictures indicating that these accusations may have some truth to them. Let’s explore this theory that Dr. Max Jacobson gave celebrities meth.
Dr. Max Jacobson was a mysterious man. Jacobsonwent by a few other names like “Miracle Max” and “Dr.Feelgood”. Jacobson treated many patients with a shot that made them feel good but no one really ever knew what was in the shot.
One of Dr. Jacobson’s patients stated “instant euphoria. You feel like Superman. You're flying. Ideas come at the speed of light. You go 72 hours straight without so much as a coffee break” (Bryk 1). With these kinds of statements you have to wonder what is in these shots Miracle Max is giving.  In an article written about Dr. Max Jacobson they stated “Of course Jacobson's mixtures merely concealed his patients' symptoms without meeting their emotional needs.  These “mixtures” were later found to 30 to 50 milligrams of amphetamines - the mood-elevating neural energizers also known as speed - mixed with multivitamins, steroids, enzymes, hormones, and solubilized placenta, bone marrow, and animal organ cells (Bryk 1).
The fact that during the time Max Jacobson was treating his patients and no one knew what was in the medicine given but it made most of them feel so good is very strange. A few of Jacobson’s patients would have serious unexplainable symptoms after receiving Jacobson’s treatments like going blind for two days before they realized what Dr. Feelgood was giving them wasn’t so good. Another mysterious thing about Jacobson is that he would meet basically anyone who would ask for him and arrange many private meetings with them, including people like Marilyn Monroe, John F Kennedy, Aretha Franklin, Elvis Presley and many more celebrities. Some of these celebrities would see Dr. Jacobson up to five times a day! Dr. Jacobson was in such demand at time that a patient of his stated “I sometimes came to his waiting room at 3am and there’d be 20 people sitting around, waiting their turn. Speed people can’t sleep. They are high all the time” (Rennell 1). Overall those years of treatment Dr. Jacobson has since had his medical license taken away, and cannot practice medicine anymore.

In the medical practice of Dr. Max Jacobson many conspiracy theories have evolved. The first conspiracy theory suggests that Dr. Max Jacobson was giving injections with methamphetamine to President John F.Kennedy and many other celebrities. This theory is based on the pictures and documented visits with the people believed to have received Jacobson, and even some statements they have said describing Dr. Jacobson. The second conspiracy theory suggest the Jacobson actually believed his remedies for curing people with his shots was actually working. Jacobson could’ve really believed that his shots were curing people and out of the goodness in his heart he felt like he should go help people who complain of pain.   The final theory is that Jacobson knew about meth’s side effects and he wanted to get people hooked on the drug to make a living as a good drug dealer.  Jacobson knew what was in the shots and he wanted to sell them as drugs and allow people to get hooked on them so he could make money to support his new life in America. Since Jacobson was new to America he could’ve came to introduce this new shot with meth to get people to continuously want it in order to get paid and make his own living. Jacobson was educated about meth in Germany, he possibly learned about this substance from Hitler and his people.
Overall I believe the first theory is true because that is what evidence points to most. One of the most shocking things about Jacobson’s shots is that he was actually able to give them to President John F. Kennedy and that he was even allowed to inject anybody with these shots and them not knowing what was truly in them. One of the most famous and outrageous actions caused by this shot was when John F. Kennedy had just received at a shot at the Carlyle Hotel and he began to act insane, he walked around nude, and the secret service had to try to control him. Jacobson and Kennedy met so much there is record of Jacobson visiting the United Sates White House a total of thirty time in the log book (Rennell 1).

Many patients felt differently about the shots. For example John F. Kennedy said “I don’t care if it’s horse pee,” JFK said. “It makes me feel good” (Getlen 1). And other patients felt differently, like how this patient stated “My last shot was a blood-red thing about a foot long. I went blind for two days, and when my eyesight finally came back, I threw away all my speed and hung up my works on the living room lampshade”(Bryk1). In comparing and contrasting the shots whether the patient felt like it was the best shot they had ever gotten or the worst shot they ever got, they overall effects were terrible to their body, especially because it was intravenously injected into their bodies.

Overall after Jacobson moved from Germany to America to start his own injection business and after treating hundreds of patients, including many celebrities, Jacobson changed the lives and behaviors of many people at the time by giving them injections they didn’t even really know about. Jacobson also had changed the views we had on some major iconic people now that we know they were on meth.
