The Conspiracy Theories Behind FEMA Camps by Diana Santarosa

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is an agency of the United States
Department of Homeland Security, initially created by Presidential Reorganization Plan No. 3 of
1978 and implemented by two Executive Orders on April 1, 1979. The agency’s primary purpose
is to coordinate the response to a disaster that has occurred in the United States and that
overwhelms the resources of local and state authorities There are over 800 FEMA camps
distributed all over the United States today and evidence shows that this is not the only purpose
for these camps. It is said that these camps are being built across the continental United States
in preparation for a future declaration of martial law.

Alex Jones has not met a conspiracy theory that he does not like or that he does not support and he makes sure that people are aware of his beliefs about these theories (Five Fun Factoids). A lot of the time people believe that he exaggerates things and that he is a very biased person because although he claims that the theories he speaks about are nothing but the truth he does not have much proof to support his theories. Alex Jones may also seem as a very certain person who stands by his word, but he has contradicted himself in many occasions. He believes that every powerful institution is a tool of an evil conspiracy, and he stated that “The globalist want us turned toward Hollywood and the TV so they can poison us”(Five Fun Factoids). Yet, he loves to quote movies, especially science fiction like “Star Wars”, “The Matrix”, and “Star Troopers” and it is also known that he is good friends with filmmaker Austinite Richard Linklater, who has put him in two of his movies (1).
In addition there has been much controversy about Alex Jones being a racist or not. He has various articles about racism like “black people can be racist too” and “Racist Facts White People Daren’t Talk About”where he defends the white race from being accused as racist and black people for being racist against their own people (infowars). Once again this comes to show that Alex is a bias person because while he posts many antiracism articles in his website infowards.com, he also has articles that contradict his beliefs.
Overall, Alex Jones the “King of Conspiracy” is a paranoid person because he believes in most of the conspiracy theories out there. Alex Jones is not as knowledgeable as he seemsbecause while researching him there were many articles by him where he contradicted his own conspiracy theories and did not have much proof to back up those theories.
There has been many conspiracy theories about FEMA camps over the years that have really put many of us at worry and wondering if any of these could be true. The first conspiracy theory and most popular among conspiracy theorist is that FEMA camps are not really there to provide help in case of a natural disaster but instead that they are future concentration camps that will be used in preparation to implement martial law through an executive order. There are many clues that lead to this theory, starting with the barb wire that is at camps because it is facing inward to keep people from leaving rather than outward to protect the people inside.  The majority of facilities can house up to 20,000 people and many of them have railroad facilities nearby which leads to the next conspiracy theory (FEMA Concentration Camps).
The second conspiracy theory is that the camps have been built near railroad facilities because the people will be transferred to the camps in prisoner boxcars with shackles. It is said that in these boxcars you can expect brutal abuse, torture, and even death since there is guillotines installed in these boxcars. They will also be used to tempt Christians to deny Jesus Christ and join a New World Order or otherwise they will be brutally eliminated (FEMA Boxcars). The boxcars will also be used to transport people to the FEMA camps across the country.
The last conspiracy theory states that the government has a plan to get everyone in these camps by creating a man made catastrophe or disaster. The damage will be so massive that everyone would have to evacuate and go to the camps; buses will be at certain locations ready to transport the people to the camps. Others say that the government will cause an epidemic to spread which will affect many people and cause chaos. The government will then transfer everyone who isn’t infected into these camps making them think that they will be safe and have the cure there to make them immune, when in fact they will just be held prisoners. It expected that many will die and the government has a plan for when this happens too. There nvvare already thousands of black plastic coffins near the FEMA camps across the country where they will put all the bodies in.
The best conspiracy theory will have to be the last one because it sounds like something that is more likely to happen and it is easy to trick the people to go to the camps that way. There is also enough proof to believe it, like the plastic coffins, and the fact that there is railroad near the camps. I am convinced that the purposes for these camps is not to aid in case of an emergency but are more like prisons for the people and I am not the only one who thinks this. A recent poll that was conducted at the College of The Mainland shows that 16 out of 20 students believe that the government will be using FEMA camps as future concentration camps as part of a plan to implement martial law.
In conclusion, the idea that the United States government has created over 800 FEMA camps in which we will be placed in after the onset of martial law does sound a little crazy. However, it’s important to keep in mind that this conspiracy theory, like most other theories, is that it is based on some shreds of truth that has been twisted, turned, and at times exaggerated to create these theories. However, there is much evidence that I found gave the theories a lot of credibility and whatever the truth might be we should be prepared and aware of what the government does and avoid getting in any buses or boxcars in case of an evacuation.
