Tupac Shakur by Ishiana Baines

Unsolved cases about murders and death falls under the conspiracy theories because people make up different theories on what they think really happened or have no information and the case is a dead-end. They would’ve normally called the cases to an earlier dismissal with the rest of unsolved cases. Tupac Shakur was American rapper and actor who came to embody the 1990s gansta-rap aesthetic and in the death became an icon symbolizing noble struggle. He sold 75 million albums to date, making him one of the top-selling artists of all time (Greenburg, Tupac Shakur Earning Like He's Still Alive).
1.      He was shot in the recording studio.
2.      Suge Knight plotted the murder
3.      Did the FBI stage his death?
Let’s look at these unpopular theories on Tupac’s death.
Tupac Amaru Shakur (June 16, 1971 to September 13, 1996) also known by his stage name 2Pac. Tupac was born in Harlem, New York to the parents of Lesane Parish Crooks, known as Afeni Shakur, and Billy Garland also had an older brother Mopreme Shakur and younger sister named Sekyiwa Shakur. In 1991, 2Pac had his first breakthrough in music career and became a member of the group Digital Underground.
Tupac Shakur was one of the greatest rappers of all time and his death left a huge impact on the world. Tupac was talented and had a powerful personality. In the article Tupac Shakur Personality Profile said, “Tupac had great potential for success, but this power is delicate and condition by strong commitment of his ideals and vision.” Tupac learned to completely bringing together the imperative elements towards people, ideas and resources to realize his goals. This can be quite complicated, so Shakur surrenders himself to the complex causes that he provides and to understanding of the result may be different from his original vision. Believing in God, with the faith and commitment he has will make an abiding impact on everyone. He was very talented with his music and acting career. In 1992, Tupac “appearance in Juice as Bishop, the troubled high school teen who fashions himself into a cold-hearted, is the great dramatic performance by a rapper in a movie” ( Mosi Reeves). Juice was rated 4/5 stars, budget 100,000 and box office sold 20.1 million (Unknown). He first time acting took the world by surprise.
Aside from his acting career which wasn’t as good as music career, Shakur disputed and significant career lasted five years. The world of rap and music industry felt impact both decades after his undue death. Tupac looked at himself as being real positive personal characteristics. Mosi Reeves stated "He's the man who singled-handedly transformed a common epithet for criminal into a source of masculine strength.” The 25 years of his life, he graced us with an unforgettable impact from just his music. Also, "Pac was very much aware of his greater mission as a young black leader in America. Driven by his revolutionary family roots and deep consciousness, he made it his duty to express this on every platform possible” (Bristout).
“Tupac began his career as a backup dancer for Digital Underground. When he wanted more and know he was worth more, he demanding he’d be given it and the rest is history” (9 things every creative can learn from Tupac Shakur). Out of an all entertainers, Tupac Shakur was the most creative person inside and out. Thinking outside the box was his thing and making his words come alive into the music. Know your worth and stand in what you believe in. Tupac knew where he stood as a young black man in America in ‘90s. “Tupac’s lyrics taught me that, as any kind of artist, your art can only be meaningful to people after you’ve made yourself vulnerable (Mika). In his song Changes he says, “We gotta make a change. It's time for us as a people to start making some changes. Let's change the way we eat, let's change the way we live, and let's change the way we treat each other. You see the old way wasn't working, so it's on us to do what we gotta do to survive.” When Tupac said this in this song, he had a vision. A vision that people needed to come together and make a change in the world we live in.
“Tupac could have given up so many times in his life, when he was robbed and shot and shot 5 times or even when he was accused of being a rapist” (Mika). Watch the kind of people you surround yourself with. With rumors and false arrests, Tupac learned to not surround himself around negative people and troublemakers. “Don't surround yourself with people that are loyal to you, only to extent of what and how much you can do for them” (Mika). Now this quote says a lot, and everyone should know that.
There are so many conspiracies on Tupac death or how he’s still alive. From the sources founded, Tupac Shakur is alive and well in some foreign area in South Africa. In a recent survey taken by yours truly, asking a couple of people whether they believe or not that Tupac Shakur's was set by Suge Knight.
In this so-called murder of Tupac Shakur, there were a couple of theories on him being alive or how he died. In our first conspiracy theories we’re going to talk about how some people think Tupac Shakur was shot and killed in a recording studio or he was shot in a drive-by in Las Vegas. Yes, Tupac was shot 5 times in a recording studio by 3 armed men. Tupac was charged with molesting a 19-year-old woman named Ayanna Jackson and was facing 25 years. Tupac stayed at Parker Meridien Hotel suite on 38th-floor November 18, 1993. The next day, “Tupac left for a publicity stop in Harlem, then went on to Times Square’s Quad Recording Studio to record a track with Uptown Records’ Little Shawn. Tupac knew it might be his last recording session for some time (2paclegacy). The day before Tupac was shot, he was convicted calculated “charges of sodomy, sexual abuse, and weapons possession against Tupac and Charles Fuller” (2paclegacy). Later that night on November 30, 1994, Tupac Shakur was shot at 5 times by 3 armed men named Dexter Isaac, Randy “Stretch” Walker, and an unknown shooter. In the ABC news article, “A convicted murderer (Dexter Isaac) serving a life sentence in a Brooklyn, N.Y., claims he robbed Tupac Shakur in a 1994 incident where the late rapper was shot five times” (Dolak and Marikar). Dexter Isaac came forward and said, “he was hired by hip-hop manager Jimmy “Henchman” Rosemond to ambush and mug Shakur” (Michaels). Isaac stated to Jimmy “I have kept your secret for years” in Sean Michaels article. Jimmy paid Isaac 2,500 to rob Tupac in the studio that night. Isaac has spent so many years behind bars, serving time on a murder, robbery, fraud and witness intimidation. Till this day, Isaac and Jimmy have long been linked with Shakur's robbery.
In the second conspiracy theory, that really caught my attention was Tupac only being accompanied by a big tall brown guy named, Suge Knight, and no one else. Why? Tupac didn’t really trust anyone. Tupac didn’t even trust Suge Knight. He stayed to himself but Suge Knight always found a way to be by his side. Suge “thought” he knew what was best for Tupac. Who is Suge Knight? Marion Hugh Knight Jr., known as Suge Knight, was record producer, co-founded and former CEO of Death Row Records. Suge was also known for multiple legal matters. Suge was sentenced to prison for 28 years back in 2015 for a fatal hit-and-run. Knight was founded no contest to voluntary manslaughter ( Suge Knight).  Since Tupac became a big artist, Suge “wanted to protect him” but put his life in danger. Why be so friendly to someone just to pretend to know and to put their life and others in danger? Searching all over the internet, Suge Knight is proven innocent for Tupac Shakur death and had nothing to do with it. Suga came forward and said that there were two individuals involved and responsible for Tupac’s death in the drive-by shooting accused September 7,1996. In the bet artice says, “Thaddeus Culpepper, Knight’s attorney, wrote that the label CEO has known for many years that Reggie Wright Jr. and his ex-wife Sharitha were behind the murder of Tupac and attempted murder of Knight” (bet.com). However, that night Suge was the one being target and Tupac was in the wrong car at the wrong time. 60% of 20 people voted that they believed that Tupac Shakur’s murder was plotted by Suge Knight.
In the last conspiracy, did the FBI stage a cover up of Tupac Shakur Death? The FBI had nothing to do with Tupac death. A retired Las Vegas police officer, David Myers, helped Tupac fake his death. Tupac was shot 4 times in a 1996 used black BMW 7 Series on September 7,1996 by two individuals in another car. Just before the shooting, Tupac attended a fight at the MGM Grand Hotel with Mike Tyson and Bruce Seldon (google). Shortly after the fight, Tupac met with Mike Tyson and headed towards the hobby where a fight broke out. Orlando Anderson from the South Side Crips in Los Angeles gang approached Tupac over something probably not relevant at the time. Just cruising down Las Vegas, a suspicious car pulled next to BMW and 13 rounds fired at Tupac Shakur side of the car. Let's go back to when David Myers “who is on his death bed, is saying that Tupac isn’t dead… his claims are saying that 2Pac was never killed that night on the Vegas strip, but instead, it was a staged event” (G-man and the Chile).  Myers came forth himself about “assisting Tupac Shakur in FAKING his own death back in 1996” (G-man and The Chile). Myers told this while lying on his death bed. According to the Box Houston, it said “Myers was supposedly offered $1.5 million dollars to help STAGE the death of the iconic rapper Tupac Shakur and he also said that Pac himself paid him $50,000 too” (G-man and Chile). Also, they used body double for $50K to be taken after the drive-by shooting.
Numerous theories are being thrown around and none of us know what to believe. It has been 25 years ago since Tupac Shakur death, but I think someone is holding back useful information that could be helpful and have the case close.
On September 13, 1996, the greatest rapper of the early 90s died. As of today, Tupac Shakur case is still under investigation and no one has come from about the accident or what they seen that night. The results of the three conspiracy theories that led to Tupac Shakur death.
1.      He was shot in the recording studio.
2.      Suge Knight plotted the murder
3.      Did the FBI stage his death?
