George
Bush was a politician who was the 43rd President of the United States of
America. He was born in Haven, Connecticut but raised in Texas. There are some
conspiracies on George Bush’s connection to 9/11. These conspiracy theories are
tied to the interesting fact that oil reserves in Iraq are considered the
world’s fifth largest oil reserves. We will explore the fol-lowing conspiracy
theories:
1.
Did George Bush have foreknowledge of the disaster about to happen so that the
United States could justify their motive to go to Iraq and Afghanistan for
their oil and their pipe-line?
2.
Was it an inside job: Did George Bush allow controlled demolition to happen, in
order to make the towers collapse?
3.
Was it ever the Islamic people who had anything to do with the tragedy or
flying the plane: Did George Bush have his own people drive the plane to the
twin towers?
Let’s
see what truth lies behind these big conspiracy theories that affected so many
lives and makes us question our government.
You
would expect that the United States would know everything about the man that
was running our country. George W. Bush was the 43rd president of the United
States of America from 2001 to 2009. We know a lot of the basic stuff about
him, but there are secrets about him that we do not know. He is known for many
personality traits that many agree to disagree on. He was seen in a positive
and negative light during his presidency, so this leads many to wonder who the
true George W. Bush is.
Many
thought of George Bush W. Bush as gregarious and optimistic. Aubbrey Immelman
from Saint John’s University talked about how “she conducted an indirect
assessment of George W. Bush. She found out that he shows all the qualities of
having an outgoing personality. Says he is gregarious and confident in his
social abilities and skilled in the art of social influence” (Immelman 1). That
showed he was known for being very friendly and standing out among his staff as
the silliest. George W. Bush shows how optimistic he is when the 9/11 tragedy struck,
and he expressed what he thought of the situation with sympathy. However, after
the 9/11 tragedy happened George Bush said, "I relied on instincts and
background. My west Texas optimism helped me project confidence” (McGreal).
During this time, he did not show an ounce of grief, while the rest of his
country was hurting from the tragedy that left many wounded, dead, and
heartbroken. Also, George W. Bush will “be remembered for what he’s like: a
fast-moving, phrase-mangling Texan who stays upbeat even though his country is
not” (Feller). George W. Bush was always someone that continued to display an
optimistic personality to everyone. He was a man that was social and knew how
to please people. Also, he was extremely confident in how he would go about things.
Makes you wonder if he had an alternative reason for being that way. Can
someone that was considered one of the worst presidents of all time, have such
good qualities?
Which
brings me to what others believe that George Bush was a fraud and deceptive.
The complete opposite of the optimistic and gregarious light that others
painted him as. He was believed to be a fraud because:
He
covered up his past. He was a party boy, the scion of a powerful political
family who got away with being a deserter during the Vietnam War. He was
reportedly AWOL for over a year from his assigned unit, the Texas Air National
Guard, which other military outfits called the "Champagne Division.
(Rosenfield 1)
Also,
he’s known for escaping accountability for his actions. “Iraq war General Tommy Frank declaration
that ‘we don’t do body counts’ trying to impeach George W. Bush and the top
administration for primarily over launching the war in Iraq” (Rosenfield 2). It
shows that he has never been held accountable in any official domestic or
international tribunal. That shows that contrary to popular belief, George W.
Bush was not a gregarious man as he deceived many to think of him that way. He
claimed that he supports our military but was a deserter for the country he
claims to want to protect. How are you going to want to protect a country that
you went AWOL for? That raised a lot of eyebrows because you would think as
President of the United States of America, you would show a little more passion
for us fellow Americans.
George Bush violated the U.S. Constitution as
well. The White House ignored basic civil liberties by launching a massive
domestic spying program where millions of Americans would have their online
activities monitored with the help of big telecom companies. The government had
no search warrant or court authority for the electronic monitoring. This whole
act was known as the patriot act. As the president of the United States of
America, you should believe in the U.S Constitution, and abide by it, instead
he violated it. To invade your fellow Americans privacy is wrong, especially
without their consent. The excuse made for doing that was, so they could
monitor chatter for any future terrorist threats or plots aimed at the United
States. If he can deceive us in that way, how can we be so sure that he had
nothing to do with the tragedy of 9/11.
During
the 9/11 terrorist attack on the United States of America, there are many
conspiracy theories on what happened. Not only are there many conspiracy
theories of 9/11, but many involving our 43rd president George W. Bush. We will explore the following conspiracy
theories on George Bush:
1.
Did George W. Bush have foreknowledge of the disaster about to happen so that
the United States could justify their motive to go to Iraq and Afghanistan for
their oil and their pipe-line?
2.
Was it an inside job: Did George W. Bush allow controlled demolition to happen,
to make the towers collapse?
3.
Was it ever the Islamic people who had anything to do with the tragedy or
flying the plane: Did George W. Bush have his administration drive the plane to
the twin towers?
The conspiracy that George Bush had
foreknowledge of the disaster about to happen in the United States to find an
excuse to go to Iraq and Afghanistan for their oil and their pipe-line is a
strong theory. It is believed to be a strong theory because on Facebook it was
asked how many people believed that George W. Bush had foreknowledge on the
bombing of the twin towers. Out of the twenty people asked on Facebook, twenty
believed that this theory is true. Many seemed to believe in this theory,
especially “a theologian and professor emeritus at the Claremont School of
Theology, named David Ray Griffin” (Harmanci 1). Griffin believed that:
The
U.S. government was complicit in the attacks, Griffin names three things. The
behavior of Bush at the schoolhouse in Florida ("Secret Service should
have whisked him out immediately if we’re under attack, but he stayed for over
30 minutes… It’s pretty clear evidence that they knew they wouldn’t be attack.
(Harmanci 1)
It
is a fact that it is protocol to secure the president in a safe area when an
attack happens on the United States until the attack is over. That raised many
suspicions to why the Bush administration was so calm in such a tragic and
scary situation.
Also,
there is a big pile of evidence that suggests that the “hijackings not only
were imaginable, they also were foreshadowed. The Bush administration received
what Secretary of State Colin Powell describes as a ‘lot of signs’ throughout
the summer that terrorists were plotting U.S. attacks. Among them: al-Qaeda
mentions of an impending ‘Hiroshima’ on U.S. soil” (Ahmed 1). If George Bush
had foreknowledge on the terrorist attack, then why didn’t he do anything about
it? Not only did he have a lot of signs of a terrorist attack, but there was
verbal confirmation that it was happening; “Israeli intelligence officials say
that they warned their counterparts in the United States last month that
large-scale terrorist attacks on highly visible targets on the American
mainland were imminent” (Ahmed 2). If you’re the President of the United
States, wouldn’t you do everything in your power to stop an attack from
happening on U.S. soil? That’s why it is believed that George Bush took part in
the conspiracy of 9/11 because instead of giving out a warning to the United
States about what is happening, he was visiting a children’s school. Many
citizens say that, “yes”, he knew of an attack, but “he didn’t know from where
and how they were going to do it” (Ahmed 2). In fact, George Bush did know of
where the attack would be taking place as:
Russian
President Vladimir Putin, a leading actor in the new international coalition
against terrorism and a close ally of President Bush and Prime Minister Blair, informed
interviewers on MS-NBC that the Russian government had warned the U.S. of
imminent attacks on airports and government buildings in the strongest possible
terms for several weeks prior to the 11th September attacks. (Ahmed 3)
This
is really upsetting to many U.S. citizens to find out that the person they
chose to run their country literally received a warning from the president of
Russia and still chose to not take part in stopping this tragedy from
happening. Many still seem to believe that this is not true, “that George W.
Bush and his administration weren’t warned of such a thing” (Ahmed 4).
Therefore, “three days after the terrorist attacks, U.S. Senator Dianne
Feinstein pointed out that: ‘Bin Laden’s people had made statements three weeks
ago carried in the Arab press in Great Britain that they were preparing to
carry out unprecedented attacks in the U.S.”’ (Ahmed 5). This was a press
conference that was recorded and actual proof that Osama Bin Laden did give out
a fair warning of his intentions with the United States of America. To say that
George Bush and his administration had knowledge of the attack being presented
to the United States is a huge understatement.
These allegations of George W. Bush
having foreknowledge of the attack on 9/11 makes everyone wonder “why?”. What
motive would George Bush have to let this tragedy happen? Well, George W. Bush
“wanted an excuse to go to war overseas, not for taking down Al ’Qaeda, but for
their oil” (Kay 1). Usually, the president’s administration is full of
politicians who are made up of middle-class people, but not millionaires. It
just so happens that George W. Bush’s administration was full of politicians
that are millionaires and entangled in the oil and gas business. This seemed to
raise eyebrows to everyone, even to National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice,
who was a director of Chevron, said that “the concentration of energy
connections is so pronounced that some critics are calling the Bush government
the ‘oil and gas administration” (Kay 1). There are also many questions about
how energy policy decisions may be affected by the private financial interests
of the many senior cabinet members; “The Bush administration has already made
it clear that it would be interested in opening up oil exploration” (Kay 2). It
left Americans wondering where they planned on exploring for oil. Also, what
lengths were the Bush administration willing to go to get oil and benefit financially
from the oil?
Which
brings us to the very popular question, did George Bush allow controlled
demolition to happen to make the towers collapse? A lot of U. S citizens believe in this theory
because of “how the building was built to withstand a plane crash”(Verdure 1).
The architects that built the twin towers said that “without stripping of a
significant portion of the steel insulation before impact, the subsequent fire
would likely not have led to overall collapse” (Verdure 1). That statement made
everyone question where the truth lies. If the twin towers really went down
because of the plane, then was it a fault on the architects and engineers that
built the towers? That’s a popular question asked by those who don’t believe
that George Bush allowed controlled demolition. It was said that:
No
experienced structural engineer watching the attack expected the WTC towers to
collapse. No skyscraper has ever before collapsed due to the fire. The fact
that the WTC towers did, beckons deep examination. (Verdure 2)
If
experienced structural engineers don’t believe that the tower would have
collapsed due to fire, then that speaks volumes to the theory that it was
controlled demolition.
I
would like to assure the world that I did not plan the recent attacks, which
seems to have been planned by people for personal reasons. I have been living
in the Islamic emirate of Afghanistan and following its leaders' rules. The
current leader does not allow me to exercise such operations. (Bin Laden Says
He…2)
Again,
there is another statement denying his involvement in the attack. The statement
confuses people because if he didn’t do it then who did? This leads to the
belief that George W. Bush had Bid Laden framed so that he could have an excuse
to go overseas. Also, why is ISIS and all the Islamic terrorist groups
attacking us? Well, it is believed that the Islamic terrorist groups weren’t
happy with the supposed framing of the attack of 9/11, not just on bin Laden
but their country. So why not attack the country that’s supposedly framing them
for 9/11?
George W. Bush and the 9/11 tragedy
remains as one of the most investigated conspiracy theories in the United
States of America. The 43rd President of the United States is still being
questioned for the conspiracy theories:
1.
Did George W. Bush have foreknowledge of the disaster about to happen so that
the United States could justify their motive to go to Iraq and Afghanistan for
their oil and their pipe-line?
2.
Was it an inside job; Did George W. Bush allow controlled demolition to happen,
to make the towers collapse?
3.
Was it ever the Islamic people who had anything to do with the tragedy or
flying the plane; Did George W. Bush have his administration drive the plane
into the twin towers?
Although
there is substantial evidence that shows that George W. Bush did have a part in
the 9/11 tragedy, there is still confusion and unanswered questions about who
caused the tragedy.
