Freemasons by Victoria Lindsey

The Freemasons are a fraternal organization called Free and Accepted Masons orAncient Free and Accepted Masons that has certain secret rituals (Merriam-Webster). They are at their core made up of very powerful men, some of our own Presidents, including GeorgeWashington, were Freemasons. Everything about them is very secretive, so secretive that there are a number of conspiracy theories about them: they are associated with the Illuminati, they are
part of the Knights Templar and that they are behind some of the biggest events in history in
order to control the world. We are going to investigate these theories and the very real possibility
that the Freemasons are taking over the world.
.
Character Analysis
Albert Pike was an important man in Freemason history. Pike was believed to be the person who connected Freemasons with the Illuminati. According to William Guy Carr, who received his information from Cardinal Caro y Rodriguez Santiago of Santiago, Chile, Pike wrote a letter to Giuseppe Mazzini that outlined three world wars that were seen as necessary to bring about a One World Order.  It’s startling how accurate the letter is to our history and current events (WW3).
Pike also wrote several books for the masons including Morals and Dogmas of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, published in 1871. Morals and Dogmas were traditionally given to the candidate upon receipt of the 14th degree of the Scottish rite (“short biography”).  It was essentially the dogma of Freemasonry. Pike had very different ideals and he used Morals and Dogmas to express them. Walter Lee Pike writes that Pike “intended it(Morals and Dogmas) to be a supplement to that great ‘connected system of moral, religious, and philosophical instruction’ that he had developed in his version of the Scottish rituals”(“short biography”). Pike revised the rituals of the Freemasons and also pushed his ideals on them.
In Morals and Dogmas Pike wrote that he believed all religions were correct, they all
essentially believed in the same thing—a higher power (Morals and Dogma). He also believed that Jesus was Lucifer, and that people who believed they weren’t the same person were wrong (1). He also believed it should stay that way (1). That the world needed a select few behind the scenes who knew the truth and were running things, and let the rest believe what kept them compliant and happy (1).
Pike is still one of the most common names synonymous to Freemasonry.
Descriptive (Main idea and Details)
The Freemasons are shrouded in secrecy, and because of this secrecy, conspiracy theories follow them everywhere. Here are a few of them. The first conspiracy theory is that they are a part of the Knights Templar. The Knights Templar were monks who took up arms in 1118 A.D. in order to protect Christian pilgrims traveling from Jaffa to Jerusalem (Watson). They were also said to have “interest in the search for the holy grail remnants as well as other treasures.”(Custom Writing Tips) Some argue they were devil worshippers and others say the church was jealous of their secrecy and wealth. This was the reason the church joined forces with the French monarch, who was also jealous of their wealth and made plans to destroy the Knights. (Nihil, 2010)  They also wanted to steal their wealth, but the knights got wind of this and escaped. They set up in Scotland and this is where they were said to have established the Freemasons (Custom Writing Tips). However, Freemasonry was first established 1,000 B.C., long before the Knights of Templar (Secret History of Freemasons).
The second conspiracy is that Albert Pike introduced the Freemasons to the Illuminati and to devil worship. This conspiracy stems from a few members of the Illuminati becoming members of the Freemasons. The Freemasons claim this only happened for a short while and once they discovered that the Illuminati was just using them as a front they cut ties with them. There is some proof to the conspiracy though, the book Morals and Dogmas Albert Pike wrote for Freemasonry, as a kind of reform for their rituals, is heavily laced with talk of the devil being a deity worthy of worship. In this book Pike calls “Lucifer the light bearer”, he also goes on to say the devil is personification of atheism or idolatry. For the initiates this is not a person, but a force created for good, but may seem for evil (Morals and Dogmas). This and his letters to Mazzini, a member of the Illuminati, points to this conspiracy being true, for at least a period of time. The Freemasons no longer give this book out to their initiates (Morals and Dogmas).
The third conspiracy theory is the Freemasons are in a secret plot to take over the world, by orchestrating some of the most significant events in history. By creating significant disasters they are able to control the politics and people. Knowing how the majority will react to these disasters, is a big part in how they are able to control things. Masons also use celebrity and other famous people to help persuade people to react a certain way. When your favorite actress, singer, writer, or politician is backing a belief it is easier to get behind it yourself. After having created havoc and then controlling the reaction the Masons are able to command the future of the world. Proof of this is in a letter that Albert Pike wrote to Mazzini about the three world wars. Albert Pike’s letter to Mazzini, dated August 15, 1871:
The First World War must be brought about in order to permit the Illuminati to overthrow the power of the Czars in Russia and of making that country a fortress of atheistic Communism. The divergences caused by the “agentur” (agents) of the Illuminati between the British and Germanic Empires will be used to foment this war. At the end of the war, Communism will be built and used in order to destroy the other governments and in order to weaken the religions. The Second World War must be fomented by taking advantage of the differences between the Fascists and the political Zionists. This war must be brought about so that Nazism is destroyed and that the political Zionism be strong enough to institute a sovereign state of Israel in Palestine. During the Second World War, International Communism must become strong enough in order to balance Christendom, which would be then restrained and held in check until the time when we would need it for the final social cataclysm. The Third World War must be fomented by taking advantage of the differences caused by the “agentur” of the “Illuminati” between the political Zionists and the leaders of Islamic World. The war must be conducted in such a way that Islam (the Moslem Arabic World) and political Zionism (the State of Israel) mutually destroy each other. Meanwhile the other nations, once more divided on this issue will be constrained to fight to the point of complete physical, moral, spiritual and economical exhaustion…We shall unleash the Nihilists and the atheists, and we shall provoke a formidable social cataclysm which in all its horror will show clearly to the nations the effect of absolute atheism, origin of savagery and of the most bloody turmoil. Then everywhere, the citizens, obliged to defend themselves against the world minority of revolutionaries, will exterminate those destroyers of civilization, and the multitude, disillusioned with Christianity, whose deistic spirits will from that moment be without compass or direction, anxious for an ideal, but without knowing where to render its adoration, will receive the true light through the universal manifestation of the pure doctrine of Lucifer, brought finally out in the public view. This manifestation will result from the general reactionary movement which will follow the destruction of Christianity and atheism, both conquered and exterminated at the same time. (Three World Wars)
The American people, by general consensus, believe their government is dishonest with them. In a poll done at College of the Mainland over half of the students believed their government lies to them. In another poll at the same college 11 out of 20 students believed the Freemasons were behind important historical events. Out of the 9 who didn’t agree, most of them did not know who the Freemasons were. With the mistrust in the government, and the prophetic letter to Mazzini being so on point with the past wars and our current eventsthis is the most plausible theory.
Everything about the Masons is very secretive and because of this secrecy they are surrounded by conspiracy theories: they are associated with the Illuminati, they are
part of the Knights Templar and that they are behind some of the biggest events in history in
order to control the world. Their secrecy acts as a shield and we may never know the truth, but from what we do know the idea that the Freemasons are taking over our world is a very real possibility.
