Marilyn Monroe By Lexee Miller

Introduction
On August 5th, 1962, the world lost a Hollywood icon. Marilyn Monroe was found dead in her home by apparent suicide (Marilyn Monroe is Found Dead). With the knowledge of her mental health issues and use of drugs, the investigation was very short, but with the investigation being so short, eyebrows were quickly raised. Suicide seemed to be the easy answer, and a very easy cover up for murder, but who would want the famous actress dead? Marilyn had many links to the then president and his brother, the Kennedys. Did they have her killed for knowing to much? Did the mafia kill her to get back at the brothers? Or did Mrs. Jackie Kennedy have her killed out of jealousy? Let’s dig deeper into her affairs with the Kennedy brothers.
Character Analysis
Marilyn is known for being the typical California girl: long legs, tan skin, blonde hair, gorgeous, with the personality to match. To the public she seemed to have the perfect body, but she wasn't perfect, she just found beauty in her imperfections. “Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius and it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring.” (Marilyn Monroe)
Marilyn grew up as Norma Jeanne Mortenson, her father unknown, and having a mother who battled with manic depression. (“Marilyn Monroe Biography”) Marilyn spent most of her early childhood in the foster system, where she later admitted being sexually assaulted at the age of eleven. Desperate to get out of foster care, Marilyn got married at the age of sixteen. She dropped out of school and got a job where a photographer discovered her and got her into modeling. (“Marilyn Monroe Biography”1)
One thing that wasn't well known about Marilyn was how smart she was. Many believe that she is an airhead because of the roles she played as a dumb blonde. Marilyn’s poems, letters, notes, recipes, and diary entries has surfaced that delves deep into her psyche and private life, showing how much of a deep person she was and proved that she wasn't just the beautiful blonde everyone knew her as. (“Marilyn and her Monsters”)
Marilyn was a happy and carefree person by the public, but, she suffered from her traumatic childhood. She was on many medications for depression, having PTSD from her mother's manic episodes. She had severe anxiety, which would be so crippling she would have to delay shooting for her movies. (“Marilyn Monroe Found Dead”1) There's one thing she was transparent on, and that was the fact that she loved being in love. She married and divorced 3 times, and all the marriages seemed like a whirlwind romance.
Even though Marilyn was known for her looks and talent, there was more to her. She was smart, thoughtful, sad, but she loved love. She loved to make others happy and smile, even though it was hard for her.
Conspiracy Theories
The  public was told that Marilyn’s death was, “caused by a self-administered overdose of sedative drugs and that the mode of death is probable suicide.” (Who Killed Marilyn Monroe- The Secret Truth) but why would she commit suicide after all these years of fighting for herself? Did she call for help? Or was it not a suicide at all?
Let’s dig deeper into the first conspiracy, suicide. Unsolved mysteries recreated her death scene and further tested the theory of her suicide. In the documentary, it was stated that there was no vomit or asphyxiated, which is common with drug overdoses. (Who Killed Marilyn Monroe- The Secret Truth1) Furthermore, there was no residue found in her stomach from the reports done during her autopsy . So her autopsy pronounced a suicide by drug overdose, but where is the proof? There wasn’t a trace of the lethal drug in her stomach, but it was found in her liver and blood. Dr. Miner, the assistant district attorney, claims toxicology lab reports had mysteriously disappeared leaving very little concrete evidence of the drugs being in her system in the first place (Who Killed Marilyn Monroe- The Secret Truth 1). Miner also has been on the record stating, “No question Marilyn Monroe did not commit suicide and that she was a victim of a homicide, she was indeed murdered” place (Who Killed Marilyn Monroe- The Secret Truth 1). Having this key witness of her autopsy say something so controversial, something said so confidently, why would he lie? Without[S10] providing any evidence, a poll, done on twitter, was done asking how Marilyn died. 56% of people said it was a suicide, while 36% said that the Kennedys did it. After providing evidence supporting as listed above, the poll was redone and 78% of participants said that the Kennedy’s murdered her.
Now let’s move on to the second theory, the Kennedy family. John F. Kennedy had been rumored to have an affair with Marilyn (4 conspiracy theories about the death of Marilyn Monroe). At his birthday party rumors about the affair took off when Marilyn sang “Happy Birthday Mr. President”. (“Marilyn Monroe- Happy Birthday Mr. President”) Marilyn had also been rumored to have been involved with his brother Robert Kennedy as well (4 conspiracy theories about the death of Marilyn Monroe). Some say that JFK had her killed for knowing too much. With JFK being president, it has been hypothesised that it could have been someone close to him, like his wife or brother, that could have done it to protect the family name and any important secrets about the government that Marilyn might have known. Multiple sources have said, "She was threatening to hold a press conference to tell the world what Jack Kennedy had told her during pillow talk about having seen debris from an extraterrestrial vehicle at what the document calls a 'secret air base'.” ,(Marilyn Monroe 'murdered by CIA to stop her exposing Roswell UFO truth JFK told to her) which is clear motive Kennedy’s Cabinet to take her out of the picture, protecting the government secrets.
With over 50 years passing since famous Hollywood actress, Marilyn Monroe, suddenly passed; the question of how she died is still a mystery. However, indications proving Marilyn’s death was a homicide, not suicide, are clear: the Kennedy family’s motives, along with no suicidal behavior, and mysteriously missing toxicology reports from her autopsy.
Conclusion
Marilyn’s death is still one of the biggest conspiracy theories out there. The ruled death being a suicide seems the easy answer leading to three main conspiracies:
  1. Was it a suicide?
  2. Did the kennedy brothers have her murdered?
  3. Did Jackie Kennedy have her murdered and cover it up to look like a suicide?
Even though the research and motive has been unofficially done to prove that the kennedys were involved, we will never know the true answer, and it will always remain a mystery.

  1. I honestly think that she was murdered, they most likely has those toxicology reports stolen to cover up the fact that she hadn't taken the drugs. Also, she did know stuff about the Kennedys and to be honest if I were in their position I would be scared of private information getting out. But I wouldn't be the one to commit the murder.
