Ever seen something in the sky you can’t
explain? Be careful not to ask too many questions, or you might get a knock at
your door in the middle of the night. Tall men with large eyes might be on the
other side of the door. They are said to look like men who wear black business
suits, black hat, and have pale unnatural skin tone. These men are known as The
Men in Black, mysterious men who visit people after unexplained incidents and
leave them creeped out. People claim they are questioned and threatened by them
not to speak of what they seen. There are theories about what or who the Men in
Black are: aliens or our government. Let’s jump into this mysterious world of
the Men in Black.
The Men in Black are mysterious beings.
No one knows who or even what these beings are and what they can do to you. It
is said they may be working with the FBI or the CIA to keep people quite about
aliens visiting earth. Many accounts start out as the same and depending on
your answer the outcome is different. Someone sees something and starts asking
questions about what it was. Next thing you know you have knock at your door at
night and two to three men are standing there. They are in black suits,
sunglasses, and have unusual skin tone. They show you badges that make think
they are with the government. Once in they ask you questions about what you
know, about what you seen, and if you have proof. On one account a man named
Albert Bender an UFO researcher says this about the Men in Black “They floated about
a foot off the floor… They looked like clergymen, but wore hats similar to
Homburg style. The faces were not clearly discernible, for the hats partly hid
and shaded them… The eyes of all three figures suddenly lit up like flashlight
bulbs… They seemed to burn into my very soul as the pains above my eyes became
almost unbearable,” (qtd. in Sablich 1). If you have proof and try
to hide it from them, it will usually disappear after their visit. The Men in
Black also know all about you and will let you know that. They warn you harm
will come if you keep seeking the truth. Many people kept quite others have had
some unfortunate bad luck.
They have been described as
threating and evil. They show no mercy when they try to hush you. One account in 1967 by a man named Robert Richardson who
apparently crash into a UFO and brought back a piece of the UFO to his house. A
week later he was visited by men in black suits and they asked for the piece of
the UFO he had. He informed them he had turned it in for testing. One of the
men told him quote “If you want your wife to stay as pretty as she is, then you
better get the metal back.” (Bergara,
Ryan, et al.). They have shown they will go
to great lengths to get what they want. Some UFO researchers like Gaurav Tiwari and Max Spiers have died in strange ways after
meeting with the Men in Black. These men also gave their family and friends a
warning if they come up dead it was no suicide or accident.
Most people who don’t heed the
warning have said they were stalked by the men. Some even said they have proof
off being stalked by the Men in Black. Tyler from SecureTeam10 YouTube channel,
a paranormal investigator has posted about his encounter. Tyler rides his motorcycle down to the gas
station to see what the guy will do. “When I left not even a minute later
another man got in the car and they peeled out and went the same direction I
did.” (“MIB: Are outside my house”) In the video he says its day three of this
man sitting in his car outside his house. The man in the video is watching them
and once he sees he is being watch he looks the other way. Another man named Jack Robinson from New
Jersey who was a UFO researcher, was also stalked and had his home rummaged
through. Jack and his wife Mary saw a man outside their apartment for a couple
days just watching them. On day three they had their friend come by but on the
way to their apartment the friend needed to take a picture of the man. In the
picture which is from 1968 shows a man in black suite and hat standing and
watching the Robinson apartment. Both cases show that the Men in Black are very
persistent beings.
When looking into the mysterious Men in Black you will find many
conspiracy theories about them. In the conspiracy theories surrounding the Men
in Black there are two that are consistent. The first is they are government
officials and they are preventing the truth about aliens from coming out. The second
is that they are the aliens and they want to keep humans quite about them.
Let’s start looking into these theories.
The first conspiracy theory says the Men in Black are government
officials trying to keep UFO believers quiet. Some say the government is trying
to prevent mass hysteria about the truth of creature from another planet. Some
witnesses never mention what they have seen to police or news, but somehow when
the Men in Black appear, they know everything. We have heard before that the
government is watching us, whether it’s through our electronics or phone
tapping. Most of the people’s stories begin with an everyday Joe showing or
telling what they have seen. Many will discount what they saw after the Men in
Black visit. The Men in Black will show a badge that looks like an official
government badge. John
Keel wrote an in-depth article for Saga magazine in 1967. Titled ‘Agents
of Terror’ he investigated visits by the men in black and even
tried to track them down. “There had been incidents by UFO witnesses where they were
approached by men saying they were from the Air Force, asking them questions
and threatening them to not speak of it to others. The
Air Force had never sent their own personnel to threaten civilians, and didn’t
even have a department related to extraterrestrial incidents” (Men in Black: Government Officials
Hiding). This caused the FBI to look into the incidents and
create a department, called ‘Project Blue Book’. So, who are these
men who say they are with the Air Force? Could they be a part of something
bigger? Well there are stories of an underground government that controls the
world, for instances the Illuminati. S much is unknown about these so-called
government officials. Well there is a government group who has been mistaking
for the Men in Black. The NICAP which stands for the National Investigations
Committee on Aerial Phenomena founded in 1956 and based in Washington, D.C.
Although they have been mistaking for the Men in Black, they do not match the
description. They have had agents who went a little overboard when talking to
witnesses. There is nothing sinister about them they are just men who thought
that had the power to be jerks. “Some
members had threatened people and even the police stopped talking to them,
they becoming such a nuisance to them. The deputy director admitted
that some members got ‘a little carried away sometimes’ and they were kicked
out of the group immediately” (Men in Black: Government Officials
Hiding).
There have been government officials who are looking into the Men in Black.
Project Blue Book was conducted by the Air Force to investigate UFOs. Coronal
George Freeman spokesman for Project Blue:
“Mysterious Men Dressed in Air Force Uniforms
or all in black and displaying impressive credentials from government agencies
have been silencing UFO witnesses. We have checked a number of these cases, and
these men are not connected to the Air Force in anyway. We haven’t been able to
find anything out about these men. By posing as Air Force officers and
government agents, they are committing a federal offence. We would sure like to
catch one, unfortunately the trail is always too cold by the time we hear about
these cases, but we are still trying” (The Real Men In Black).
Well if it not the government what else could they be?
The second theory is just out of this world
literally. To quote Mr. Giorgio A. Tsoukalos “Aliens!” The
one who want to keep things about UFOs a secret could be none other than
aliens. Alien stories have been around for hundreds of years and when you look
into human history there are signs of them. The Men in Black have been
described as other worldly, from their large eyes and fake looking skin to the
robotic way they speak. Many of the witnesses say they feel uneasy when the Men
in Black leave their house. One story that has been circulating around is from
Doctor Herbert Hopkins from Maine. In 1976 he was doing consultant on an
alleged UFO teleportation case in Maine when he received a call. The person on
the other end of the line ask to meet with him about the teleportation, Doctor
Hopkins agreed. By the time he hung up the phone the person was already walking
up the steps. Here where it gets strange, after telling the man what he wanted
the man told Doctor Hopkins he had two coins in his pocket. He asked him to
remove one. Hopkins did as he was told. “Watch the coin, the stranger requested. As he
observed it, his vision began to grow fuzzy and then to waver in his vision.
After it changed color, it simply vanished. The man then said that no one on
this plane would ever see that coin again” (Dr. Hebert Hopkins MIB Encounter).
Weird, but could this man be an alien? There are different stories about the
Men in Black that are hard to explain. Witnesses saying unexplained things
happen when they met them. Albert Bender, UFO researcher and author of “Flying
Saucers and the Three Men” talks about his experience with the Men in Black in
his book. “They floated about a foot off the

they want. The MIB movies may actually be closer to the truth. Remember in the
first movie where the alien was in a robotic human. Witnesses have said the Men
in Black sound robotic when they spoke and they walk very strange. There is a
story of a young girl named Adele being home alone and a man appears at her
door selling insurance. Once inside the man started to acting strange. “Next, he turned his attention to a clock on the
mantelpiece. Adele told the Men in Black that the clock was her father’s
retirement present, at which he seemed baffled. “Is it your father’s time?” he
asked, “Is it here and now?” Then the Men in Black seemed to freak out like a
malfunctioning robot. He began repeating “your father - his time” over and
over and became stiff and immobile. Turning to the door he had to use his hands
to move one of his legs. He told Adele to “watch the lights” before leaving in
a hurry, disappearing down the street impossibly quickly” (Weird Worm). Could
this be aliens in a human robot? Maybe, but there is no truth or solid evidence
just witness statement.
What
we can conclude is that no matter if they are government or aliens the Men in
Black are not beings you want to mess with. In a Facebook survey I conducted I
asked “Do you believe in the Men in Black?” Out of 27 men and women 19 believed
they are real and 8 believe there is no such thing. The ones who believe told
me to be careful not to dig too much, or there will be a knock at my door. With
so many stories and so many cold leads we may never know what they are or even
if they do exist.
There are theories about what or who the
Men in Black are: aliens or our government. Whoever they are, they are not be
taking lightly. They have shown to be cold-hearted, threating, and mysterious
beings. Our government claims not to know who they are and have even
investigated the Men in Black. Maybe aliens are using robotic humans to stop us
from talking about them? With too many cold leads we may never know for sure.
One question remains, do you believe in the Men in Black?
