727: The story of D.B Cooper by Anthony Johnson

For over four decades, the FBI has had little success in trying to solve the case of the only successful hijacking in U.S history. They have had even less success in finding the individual responsible for the crime. The culprit, given the epithet “D.B Cooper” by the media due to miscommunication, committed what many will was a flawless crime. How can a man calmly hijack an aircraft with only a note, and what he said was a “bomb,” extorted $200,000, and then jumped out of the plane during a severe storm near southern Washington, never to be seen or heard from again? Then, throughout the entire situation, he was respectful and courteous to the flight attendants and airline crew. This unusual display of confidence and compassion can leave one with many questions, ideas, and theories as to how this crime was so perfectly executed
