The Georgia Guidestones by Merari

Who is R.C. Christian? "In June 1979, a well-dressed, articulate stranger visited the office of the Elberton Granite Finishing Company and announced that he wanted to build an edifice to transmit a message to mankind. He identified himself as R.C. Christian, but it soon became apparent that was not his real name" ("The Georgia Guidestones"). Many theories are believed about R.C. Christian and who he represented. One theory is that he was a member of the Rosicrucian’s Group, others believe that The Guidestones were created by an Anti-Christ group, and the third theory is that The Georgia Guidestones are a blueprint for a new order. We will be exploring and discussing these three theories.
The man that identified as Roberts C. Christian is described as an elegantly dressed, gray-haired and approximately middle-aged gentlemen (Malinowski). To most people, R.C Christian is a mysterious man, just a part of one’s imagination. Many have come to the conclusion that he was never real, because little is known about him. But, for Wyatt C. Martin president of the Granite City bank, Robert C. Christian is very real.

Not much is known about R.C. Christian, but we can try to match his internal conflicts by what was written on the stones. We can assume that maybe he is eco-friendly, against too much industrialization, believes balance is needed between nature and humanity, and appreciates the things around him because of the first, nine and ten commandment on the Guidestones 1. “Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature” (Malinowski.) 9. “Prize truth—beauty—love seeking harmony with the infinite” (Malinowski.) and 10. “Be not cancer in the world — leave room for nature — leave room for nature” (Malinowski.) The second commandment says “Guide reproduction wisely improving fitness and diversity, (Malinowski)” as we read the second commandment we can say that he most likely despises ignorance or has an idea of a superior group.
Number 5. “Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts, (Malinowski) number 7 is “Avoid petty laws and useless officials, (Malinowski.)” and number 8. “Balance personal rights with social duties” (Malinowski) These three commandments talk about how laws and courts are over rated and unfair, also that government officials are unnecessary and that both our social duties and personal rights should not limit one another. He is most likely anti-government and even proposes the idea that a new world order should be composed to improve our government system.
Number 3. “Unite humanity with a living new language” (Malinowski) 4. “Rule passion—faith—tradition and all things with tempered reason” (Malinowski) and 6. “Let all nations rule internally resolving external disputes in a world court” (Malinowski) Christian believes that countries are segregated because of the different languages and a global language would probably help unify all countries. To most people, R.C Christian is a mysterious man, just a part of one’s imagination. Many have come to the conclusion that he was never real because little is known about him.
The first theory of R. C. Christian and The Georgia Guidestones is that he was a member of the Rosicrucian’s. The Rosicrucian’s were an occult organization in the 15th and 17th century that was first founded by Christian Rosenkreuz. They were a brotherhood focus on astrology, spiritual healing, astral spirituality, and nature (“Rocicrusianism, R.C. Christian and The GA Guidestones”). Many have come to believe that R.C. Christian was part of this group because of the following reason. During the medieval times two manifestos were released in Germany, The Fame of The brotherhood of RC and The Confessions of the Brotherhood of RC they were both anonymous manifestos just like the Georgia Guidestones its author is unknown; also in all three occasions the authors name is a pseudonym (“Rocicrusianism, R.C. Christian and The GA Guidestones”). Next is that the centered stone has two drilled holes, one is where the North Star can be visible through it, the other hole aligns to the position where the sun rises when summer and winter solicits and the equinox, because of the positions of this holes the monument also works as a solar calendar (“Georgia Guidestones Monument”). As we have discussed before, written on the stones we can see how the group who contribute for the guidestones had set their mind to put nature before or equal to humanity just as the Rosicrucian’s did.
The second theory is that some believe R. C. Christian was part of an antichrist group. There is a book titled Common Sense Renewed, and the author is R.C. Christian, it is said that in the book he makes many references to Thomas Paine book, titled Common Sense. This book talks about how Christianity should be abolished, which concludes many to believe this theory. Other reasons for this theory can be found on the Commandments like in number three it talks about humanity speaking one language, many compare this to the story of The Tower of Babel in the book of genesis in the Old Testament. The story it talks about a group of people that came together to build a tower and a city where only one language is spoken, when God sees this he confuses the languages so the people would not understand each other (Genesis 11:1-9). In the second commandment they relate it to abortion and sterilization which many of us know Christianity is against, because of this examples and many others people have come to believe that R.C. Christian was part of an antichrist group.
Finally the third theory is about the Georgia Guidestones being a blueprint. There is a granite tablet that was placed a few feet from the monument that read “Let these be guidestones to an age of reason”(Morton). It is because of this quote inscribed on the ground that people believe that something like a world war III, human destruction, or global destruction will occur (wiley). The Ten Commandments on the guidestones are a set of guides that the remaining of men kind can follow. Another comment that Christian told martin was that him and the other sponsors had planned the monument for years and that the Commandments would be guides for the conservation of mankind (“The Georgia Guidestones”).

To this day it is still unknown why the Georgia Guidestones were made and what group was involve and if this guides should be followed. Most people believe they are somewhat cruel; 6 out of 20 people believe that this guides should be followed. The most likely theory is that  R.C. Christian was part of the Rosicrucian’s Group because of the information know about the Rosicrucian’s and the similarities written on the guidestones and the group’s main focus in their brotherhood.
"In June 1979, a well-dressed, articulate stranger visited the office of the Elberton Granite Finishing Company and announced that he wanted to build an edifice to transmit a message to mankind. He identified himself as R.C. Christian, but it soon became apparent that was not his real name" ("The Georgia Guidestones."). The results of this strange monument led people to believe many conspiracy theories here are three most likely theories:
  1. R.C. Christian was a member of the Rosicrucian’s Group.
  2. The Guidestones were created by an Anti-Christ group.
  3. The Georgia Guidestones are a blueprint for a new order.
To this day no one knows who R.C. Christian was, what group was involved , and some still question if he was ever real this mystery is still unsolved.
