Was it an inside job or an accident? Did the government have to do with the horrified disaster or was it an attack from the al-Qaeda terrorists using hijacked planes? Did the Trade Building Center blow itself up that same day?  Questions that have been unanswered are still being ask every year after September 11, 2001 (News One Staff).

 One of the biggest tragedy in New York City was when the twin towers were hit twice by hijacked planes and the Trade Building Center fell down too. People still remember this day with all the shocking and confused feelings they had when they first heard the news. Everyone was scared for their lives and the lives of their loved ones; as many people sat at home watching the real life streams in their televisions. On September 11, 2001, around 9:00 am two hijacked planes crashed into the twin towers on New York City. Not only that but also the Trade Building Center 7 was destroyed few hours later. The Trade Building Center wasn’t hit by an airplane, but it did fall down right after the twin towers, which leads to conclusion that maybe it was blown up by control bombs. This tragedy attacks resulted in the deaths of 2,996 people including the 19 hijackers. Theories have been going on since that horrible day, and there’s still no truth from it (Dave Thomas).

Many people have seen the video from where President George W. Bush was at a school for children and received the news of the second plane hitting one of the twin towers in New York City on September 11, 2001. Why is it that the president didn’t have that much of a shock reaction? Why didn’t he took any action of giving orders to do something about the attack? Did he had something to do with the attack or was he not ready for an attack like that? All these questions got in citizens mind, making their own conclusions after the terrorist attack of 9/11. People say that the thought of President Bush was that, they had declared war to U.S.A and we were going to war. “Terrorism against our nation will not stand,” he said, appearing shaken but determined (Gleaves Whitney).

Later on, President George W. Bush gave a speech and said that the attack was because, “America was the brightest beacon for freedom and opportunity in the world” (9/11 Address to the Nation). That speech erased any doubts about his capacity to shepherd the nation through a world of wolves. With the pinpoint accuracy of a laser-guided missile, his words penetrated deep into the American heart. People from across the political spectrum reported that they had heard the greatest speech in decades, the greatest speech in their lives (Gleaves Whitney).

In the attack of the twin towers on 9/11 at New York City, many conspiracies were highlighted. The first conspiracy was if the attack was an inside job or was it an accident? Based on the videos captured from when the towers fell, it seems like there could have been bombs inside the buildings that caused the towers to collapse completely down. Some people have pointed out constant explosion in between the floors of the towers. Many pictures were leaked after the explosion stating that the videos about the attack were edited, so that planes were recorded hitting the twin towers when actually there were bombs in the basements.

 Chances are someone could of put bombs inside the building and make it seem like it was the planes that caused it. Maybe it could have just been an accident that the pilot lost control of the plane or maybe the attack was meant to be done somewhere else. As everyone knows if one airline is out of their destination the people in charge of the airports, have to report everything that goes wrong or looks bad. Another’s “argue that the CIA was directly involved and point to reports of explosions in different parts of the towers, and that WTC Building 7, which had CIA offices in it, was demolished; by an attempt to destroy evidence of the Centre of operations for the Twin Towers attack next door”(The top ten 9/11 conspiracy theories).

The second conspiracy was if the government have to do with the horrified disaster or was it an attack from the al-Qaeda terrorists using hijacked planes? Rumors went around that the government owed money to china and they didn’t want to pay them back. Another rumor was that the attack could have been because of oil reserves protection. Maybe the attack was planned by the terrorist group that Osama Bin Laden control because of the injustice and oppression being made to their sons in Palestine and Iraq. Also the government decided not to say the truth of what really happened. Chances are that the government could be hiding the truth to cover up a mistake that could of possibly be made by them.

           The final conspiracy was if the Trade Building Center blow itself up on purpose that same day? No plane hit this building at all and it fell down a few hours after the towers had been hit by the planes. What could have caused this building to automatically fall down without a touch of anything? The only explanation is that someone like an employee or an outside person placed bombs in the building to blow it up. It has been seen on pictures as the building collapsed that some mist and explosion was coming out from a corner of the building. This theory adds up both of the other conspiracy theories; if the government had to do with the attacks and bombs being planted in both buildings to get destroyed, to make it seem like terrorist attacked the United States. This building was also constructed differently, with a web column design. The interior columns were not pushed out to the perimeter (Debunking 9/11 conspiracy theories). There’s no way this building could have been demolished if “the building was never caught fire; so it was never in any danger of collapse. No one really knows the real truth of why or how did the Trade Building Center fell down.

Six months after the Twin Towers fell, they returned in the form of two blue beams of light illuminating the Manhattan skyline. Since then, they have lit the sky annually as a September 11 commemoration know as the Tribute in Light. The tradition still continued this year to remember the 14^th anniversary of the attacks. The Tribute in Light first debuted on March 11, 2002 in a vacant lot across from ground zero on West Street. Now, the 88 high powered light bulbs, which are assembled in two 48 foot squares to echo the footprints of the original towers, are illuminated from the roof of a lower Manhattan parking garage. The lower Manhattan Development Corporation funded the tribute to ensure it would begin on the sixth month anniversary of the attacks, and continued to support it for year to follow.

This event of September 11, 2001 won’t ever be forgotten, because too many lives were lost and lead the whole country in a big worry. Therefore a tribute to the past and a place of hope for the future, the 9/11 Memorial Plaza is alive with twin spirits of remembrance and renewal. The 8-acre park is a supremely contemplative sanctuary, composed of a grove of nearly 400 white oak trees, and the largest manmade waterfalls in the United States. Set within the footprints of the original Twin Towers, each pool is approximately 1-acre in size. The names of every person who perished in the terror attack of September 11, 2001 are honored in bronze around the twin Memorial pools.
